Add a new bumpforceclosefee rpc endpoint to the wallet server.
Move the logic from the lncli level to the wallet server rpc level.
This is more in line with a proper client-server design.
wallet lncli: use new bumpforceclosefee endpoint.
Besides using the new bumpforceclosefee rpc endpoint we also enable the
bumping of taproot anchor channels.
In this commit, we add the coin selection strategy option
to all on-chain RPCs `FundPsbt`, `BatchOpenChannel`, `EstimateFee`,
`SendMany`, `SendCoins`, `SendOutputs`.
For the itest in the next commit we'll need to be able to fetch the
input information for an address over RPC. The only piece missing is the
address' index, which we add in this commit. Everything else should be
derivable from the ListAddresses and ListAccounts calls.
By default ListSweeps will list all sweeps known to the wallet. Over
time this may become expensive to call and callers may not be interested
in the full history. This commit adds a `startheight` parameter to the
`ListSweeps` RPC call. This parameter can be used to fetch sweeps only
from a specified start block height or only unconfirmed ones if it is
set to -1.
This PR addresses the following:
- Install and Configure protolint to enforce the protobuf style guide rules in the CI.
- Fix the protolinting issues (package and import ordering) while maintaining the comaptibility.
The RemoveTransaction endpoint removes the transaction with the
provided txid including all its descendants from the internal wallet.
We still keep watching for the address of the transation in case
the transcation is confirmed nonetheless. This command is particular
useful for neutrino backends because new bitcoind versions do not
reply with an invalid transaction error code when the tx published
fails to be included into the mempool (fullnodes do).
The description for TXID in Label Transaction should include a note
that, in the case of GRPC, the TXID needs to be passed in little-endian
(reverse) byte order. A user passing the bytes in big-endian order is
met with an error message stating that the transaction is not found in
the wallet and no other information with which to troubleshoot.
By default, P2TR addresses are used for changes. However, some users
might encounter some problems with this change. We add the possibility
to define a custom address type in FundPsbt for default/imported accounts
(only P2TR for now). If no address type is specified for these accounts,
we will use P2WKH by default.
In order to support the full range of on-chain functionality, including
importing watch-only accounts in the watch-only instance, we need to
forward some calls like creating new addresses or importing accounts to
the remote signing instance.
To avoid a naming conflict with etcd, we rename our very generic
rpc.proto to lightning.proto to match the service name that's declared
within. This will break many external tutorials and possibly also our
API docs but the change needs to be done eventually.
This commit deprecates/replaces the old field `sat_per_byte` with
`sat_per_vbyte`. While the old field suggests sat per byte, it’s
actually using sat per virtual byte. We use the Hidden param to hide all
the deprecated flags. These flags won't show up in help menu onwards,
while stay valid that can be passed from cli. Thus bash scripts
referencing these fields won't be broken.
Previously, the verbose output of listsweeps would fail if we did not
find some sweeps in our wallet's listtransactions output. This could be
the case for sweeps that were rbf-ed, so the endpoint would fail. This
commit also updates the listsweeps endpoint to always check against the
wallet, so that we do not return these discarded sweeps that never
confirmed.
