feat(ui): establish a role-named type scale and migrate ad-hoc font sizes (MUL-5451) (#6136)
tokens.css defined colours, radii and font families but not a single --text-* step, so font sizes had no baseline to align to and grew wherever they were needed: 51 distinct sizes across web + desktop, 370 written as arbitrary values, six at half a pixel (10.5 / 11.5 / 12.5 / 13.5 / 14.5 / 15.5px). text-xs and text-sm carried nearly all UI text while the range between them — 11, 13, 15px — could only be reached with arbitrary values. Hierarchy does not come from having more sizes; past a handful, each extra size makes the hierarchy blurrier. Add ten role-named steps, each with its own line-height so leading cannot fragment the way size did, and move every product-UI call site onto them. Steps are named for what the text is for, not for a t-shirt size, because that is what keeps the scale from drifting again. Six steps deliberately keep the exact size/line-height pairs of the Tailwind defaults they replace, so the ~1,900-call-site rename moves nothing on screen. The visible changes are confined to former arbitrary values snapping to a step: 8/9/10px -> micro (11px) on badges and overlines; 17 -> 18; 22 -> 24; 30 (text-3xl) -> 36 on headings and stat numbers; 12.8px -> label (13px) on small buttons and toggles. Half-pixel sizes are gone. This supersedes #6108, which was reverted by #6116 because the sidebar group labels rendered at the inherited 16px. The cause was not the scale but cn(): `text-<x>` is ambiguous in Tailwind, and tailwind-merge resolves it against a table listing only the default sizes, so it filed every role step under text-colour and dropped whichever of `text-caption` / `text-sidebar-foreground/70` came first. Registering the steps as a font-size class group restores the real conflict groups — size beats size, colour beats colour, the two coexist — and a test pins the list against the scale, since the failure is silent in source. Hand-written CSS is covered too. The transcript kept a 12.5px body long after every Tailwind call site was on the scale, so the "no half-pixel sizes" claim was true of the classes and false of the product; the editor's prose, code and mermaid ramps had the same blind spot, and seven of their eight values already equalled a step exactly. All now reference var(--text-*). The guard test reads raw `font-size:` declarations as well as class names, exempting only the 16px iOS input-zoom workaround in base.css and the landing pages' marketing ramp. apps/mobile (own NativeWind config) and apps/docs (fumadocs' own type system) keep Tailwind's default scale and are untouched. Landing display type (rem/clamp, 2.2-6.4rem) stays on its separate ramp, as do four decorative emoji / serif-hero sizes. Verified on a running local stack: pinned sidebar rows and group labels measure 12px/16px, nav items 14px/20px — identical to pre-migration. An audit of every rendered font size across the product surfaces finds nothing off the scale; the only exceptions are avatar initials and emoji, which actor-avatar.tsx sizes proportionally to the avatar diameter by design. fix(views): open a real browser tab on modifier-click for non-anchor surfaces (MUL-5456) (#6125)
Web has no `NavigationAdapter.openInNewTab`. Real anchors are fine — the browser's native modifier-click handles them — but three surfaces are not anchors and had no fallback, so cmd/ctrl/middle click silently did the wrong thing: - List rows (`useRowLink`) navigated in place. Affects projects / agents / skills / squads / runtimes / autopilots. - Avatar profile links navigated in place. - Editor project mentions did nothing at all: `handleClick` called `preventDefault()` up front, then returned when no adapter was found. Fixed per surface rather than by defining `openInNewTab` on the web adapter — that would regress `AppLink`, which relies on the adapter being undefined to let native anchor semantics through, collapsing cmd+click (background tab), shift+click (new window) and cmd+shift+click (foreground tab) into one `window.open` outcome. - Non-anchors (rows, avatars) get the `window.open(getShareableUrl(...))` fallback already used by `table-view` and `html-attachment-preview`. - The project mention is a real anchor, so `preventDefault()` moves into the branches that actually handle the click, matching `IssueMention` in the same file. Native behaviour is preserved. Desktop is unchanged: the adapter still wins on every path. Co-authored-by: Lambda <lambda@multica.ai> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> |

feat(ui): establish a role-named type scale and migrate ad-hoc font sizes (MUL-5451) (#6108)
tokens.css defined colours, radii and font families but not a single --text-* step, so font sizes had no baseline to align to and grew wherever they were needed: 51 distinct sizes across web + desktop, 370 of them written as arbitrary text-[Npx] values, six at half a pixel (10.5 / 11.5 / 12.5 / 13.5 / 14.5 / 15.5px). text-xs and text-sm carried nearly all UI text while the range between them — 11, 13, 15px — could only be reached with arbitrary values. Six steps deliberately keep the exact size/line-height pairs of the Tailwind defaults they replace, so the 1,900-call-site rename (text-sm -> text-body and friends) moves nothing on screen. The visible changes are confined to former arbitrary values snapping to a step: - 8 / 9 / 10px -> micro (11px): 102 sites, mostly badges and overline labels. Deliberate — under 12px is a counter role, not a text role. - 17px -> title (18px), 22px -> display-sm (24px), 30px (text-3xl) -> display (36px): 21 sites, all headings or stat numbers in flexible containers. - Half-pixel steps are gone entirely. Arbitrary sizes also inherited whatever line-height was above them; the tokens now pin one, which removes latent overflow risk in the fixed-height h-4/h-5 badges those sizes were used in. apps/mobile (own NativeWind config) and apps/docs (fumadocs' own type system) keep Tailwind's default scale and are untouched. Landing-page display type (rem/clamp, 2.2-6.4rem) is marketing typography on a separate ramp and stays out of the scale, as do four decorative emoji / serif-hero sizes. A guard test fails the build on any font size written outside the scale, reporting file:line — without it nothing in a Tailwind build makes an off-scale value look wrong, which is how the drift happened. Verified against a local stack: typecheck, lint and the full TS suite show no new failures, and before/after screenshots of issues, issue detail, runtimes (populated), usage, agents, inbox, my-issues and settings differ only in the intended 10px -> 11px labels, with no row-height, truncation or layout shift. fix(editor): open mention and slash pickers only for typed triggers (MUL-5429) (#6072)
* fix(editor): stop pasted @ text from hijacking Enter and Escape (MUL-5429) Pasting a line containing `@` into the create-issue composer left an empty mention picker open that swallowed Enter, and Escape then closed the whole dialog instead of just the picker. Two independent causes: 1. The Tiptap suggestion plugin re-runs findSuggestionMatch on EVERY transaction, including the one that commits a paste, so pasted text containing `@` opened the picker. With `allowSpaces` the match runs from the `@` to the end of the line, so the entire pasted tail became one query that matched nothing — and the empty popup deliberately captures Enter. Gate the mention picker with `shouldShow`: skip paste/drop transactions, and skip queries longer than any real mention target (60 chars). The empty-list Enter capture is intentional and is left alone; the fix stops the picker opening instead. 2. ProseMirror calls preventDefault() for a handled key but never stops propagation, and Base UI's dismiss layer listens for Escape on `document` in the bubble phase without consulting defaultPrevented. So the Escape that closed the picker also closed the host dialog. Stop propagation in the shared suggestion popup handler — the only layer that knows a picker is open — which fixes every host at once. The slash pickers get the same paste guard so a pasted path no longer opens the command menu; they were never affected by the Enter capture. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): open mention and slash pickers only for typed triggers (MUL-5429) Pasting a line containing `@` opened an empty mention picker that swallowed Enter. The first attempt at this fix aimed at the wrong target and did not work in the product; this replaces it. The picker also opened with no paste involved at all: placing the caret at the end of a line that already contained `@` was enough. Tiptap's Suggestion plugin is state-derived, not event-driven — it re-runs findSuggestionMatch on EVERY transaction and asks whether the text before the cursor looks like a trigger, never whether the user just typed one. Pasted, dropped, undone and server-loaded text produce an identical document, so it cannot tell them apart. With allowSpaces the match then runs from the `@` to the end of the line, so the whole pasted tail became one query that matched nothing, and the empty popup deliberately captures Enter. That is upstream's known, unfixed design: ueberdosis/tiptap#4183 (open since 2023, labelled `complexity: hard`, reopened in January after `shouldShow` proved insufficient) and #7371. Upstream's position is that applications supply the missing provenance themselves. `shouldShow` alone cannot: it receives the transaction without `prev.active`, while `allow` receives `prev.active` without the transaction, so no transaction-inspecting predicate can express "only on the transaction that opened the picker". Add a trigger-arming plugin instead. `handleTextInput` is the one ProseMirror hook that fires for real keyboard and IME input only — paste goes through handlePaste/doPaste and drop through handleDrop, neither of which reaches it. Typing a trigger character arms its document position; the pickers' shouldShow opens only for a match anchored there; a deliberate caret move, or losing the trigger character, disarms it. This is the same signal Tiptap's own InputRules run on, which is why typing `- ` makes a list but pasting it does not. Suggestion is the one Tiptap feature that does not use it. Also stamp the paste metas markdownPaste was dropping. ProseMirror's doPaste returns early once a handlePaste prop claims the event, and markdownPaste is a catch-all that claims nearly every paste, so the transaction that commits a paste carried no `paste` / `uiEvent` mark. That is why the previous fix never fired in the product, and it independently broke issueIdentifierAutolink, which reads exactly that mark: pasting `See MUL-2 now` autolinked nothing, because the unmarked transaction sent it down the typing path that only inspects the token before the caret. Both features' paste tests passed throughout because they hand-built transactions carrying a meta the real paste path never produces. Every paste case now fires a real paste event, and typing is routed through handleTextInput the way readDOMChange does, so a test cannot be green while the product is broken. The Escape containment from the previous attempt is unrelated to all of this and is kept as is. MUL-5391: unify upload placeholder UI (#6025)
* fix(editor): an in-flight upload placeholder is never content, and is drawn once
Two defects with one cause: a placeholder for an upload in progress was both
serialised into the draft body and drawn a second time as a chip.
The document IS the persisted draft (getMarkdown -> setDraft), so serialising
an in-flight node turns it into text that outlives the upload:
- fileCard emitted `!file[x.pdf]()`. Its own tokenizer cannot parse an empty
href back, so the line survived reopen as dead literal text, sat next to
the real link the write-back appended, and shipped with the comment.
- image emitted its process-local `blob:` URL, which ContentEditor then
scrubbed back out with a regex on every serialise.
Both renderMarkdown implementations now emit nothing while `attrs.uploading`
is set (or no URL exists). A node becomes content the moment it holds a real
URL and never before, which is strictly stronger than scrubbing after the
fact — so BLOB_IMAGE_RE / stripBlobUrls are deleted rather than extended.
Separately, ComposerUploadChips rendered every non-`uploaded` entry, including
ones whose placeholder node is right there in the editor. Every upload started
from a live mount inserts a node first (uploadAndInsertFile is the uploader's
only caller), so those chips were the same upload drawn twice, in two visual
languages, shifting layout as they appeared and vanished. useCoordinatedUploads
now exposes `orphanUploads` — the entries inherited from the persisted draft,
whose originating mount is gone and whose node died with it. That is the case
the chip strip was introduced for, and now the only one it covers.
`getMarkdown()` deliberately stays untrimmed (see its safety-net test); only
its stripBlobUrls wrapper is gone.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(editor): keep a failed upload visible after the chip/node split
Self-review catch on the previous commit: suppressing the chip for every
upload this mount started also suppressed it for FAILED ones. The document
cannot stand in for those — uploadAndInsertFile removes the placeholder node
on failure — so the outcome was left to a toast that has already gone.
The rule is not "started here" but "the document is showing it", and the
document only ever shows a live placeholder: still `uploading` AND started by
this mount. `failed` / `interrupted` always get a chip, `uploaded` never does
(the editor and AttachmentList render those), which also makes an
`orphanUploads.length` gate mean what the call sites assume.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(editor): keep the chip when the user deletes a running upload's placeholder
Code-review catch: "started by this mount" is necessary but not sufficient for
"the document is showing it". Cmd+Z right after a paste removes the placeholder
node while the upload keeps running — and gate.isBlocked keeps blocking send on
the store entry regardless of the node — so the previous filter left a dead send
button with nothing on screen explaining it.
The filter now also consults editorGate.uploading, which is the document's own
answer to "am I showing a placeholder right now" (sourced from the uploading-node
scan via onUploadingChange). Started-here AND still shown is what suppresses a
chip; either half failing brings it back.
Also drops a stale stripBlobUrls reference from the use-upload-gate docstring —
that helper no longer exists.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(editor): a failed upload leaves nothing behind
The failure chip carried no information the toast had not already given at the
moment it happened, and it could not act on it: the bytes were never persisted,
so there is nothing to retry, and the file is still on disk to re-attach. Its
only affordance was a dismiss ✕.
It cost more than that. The entry lives in the persisted draft, so it survived
reload and reopen until dismissed by hand — and `isMeaningful` counts uploads,
so a single flaky request kept an otherwise-empty draft alive for the full
30-day TTL. Uploading again did not clear it either: a new upload is a new
clientUploadId.
Failures now remove their placeholder outright instead of marking it. Both
failure paths (size check, coordinator settle) collapse into that one rule,
which also folds the paste-as-file recovery into the shared branch rather than
duplicating it.
`interrupted` keeps its chip: it is discovered a session later, when the user
no longer remembers attaching anything. `orphanUploads` still handles `failed`
because an older client may have persisted one.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* refactor(editor): one upload, one node, from start to finish
The chip strip existed because the document could not answer for an upload it
was not showing. Give it that ability and the strip has no reason to exist.
Three changes make one model:
- ONE IDENTITY. The node's `uploadId` and the draft's `clientUploadId` were
two independently minted random values, because the node is inserted before
the handler that created the draft record runs. `uploadAndInsertFile` now
mints the id up front and hands it to the uploader, which adopts it. Asking
"is this upload in the document" becomes a lookup instead of an inference.
- REBUILD ON MOUNT. A placeholder is never serialised (it is not content), so
it dies with the document that drew it and a reopened composer showed no
trace of an upload still running. The draft record is enough to draw it
again. Once per id per mount: a placeholder the user deleted mid-upload
stays deleted (MUL-5181), and the guard is what stops the next store write
from undoing that. Skipped entirely while chat pins its document to another
draft — `uploads` follows the selected key, the document does not.
- SETTLE IN PLACE. The write-back replaces the placeholder where the user last
saw it instead of appending the link at the end. A card promotes to an image
when that is what arrived; the rebuild path only ever has a filename, so it
cannot know in advance.
With that, the chips are deleted outright, along with `orphanUploads` and the
three-condition rule that approximated all of the above. `interrupted` goes
too: nothing could act on it, no surface rendered it after this change, and
`isMeaningful` counted it — one dead record kept an empty draft alive for the
full TTL. The attachment's absence from the body is the signal to re-attach.
SubmitButton's `busy` now spins rather than only greying out, so an upload
with no other on-screen trace (a composer still rebuilding, a placeholder the
user deleted) does not read as a dead control.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(editor): whoever draws a placeholder registers it, not whoever finds it
Review catch on the rebuild effect. An upload started by the current mount had
its node drawn synchronously by uploadAndInsertFile, but its id only entered
`rebuiltUploadIdsRef` once the effect ran and happened to find that node. In
between, a delete (Cmd+Z right after a paste) left the effect looking at an
unmarked `uploading` record with no node — so it drew a second one, undoing a
removal MUL-5181 says must stick, and letting the settle land an attachment
the user had taken out.
The id is now registered where it is minted: an id handed into handleUpload
means the editor already drew the node. The window is sub-frame and needs a
keystroke inside one render pass, but "whoever draws it registers it" is a
rule, where "the effect will notice in time" was a race.
The composer mocks called `onUploadFile(file)` with no id, so they were not
exercising the one-id contract at all — every mount-started upload looked
inherited to the hook. They now mint and pass one like the real handle does,
which is what lets the new regression test see the difference.

feat(editor): 粘贴超长文本自动转为文本附件 (#6019)
* feat(editor): convert over-threshold pastes into a text attachment Pasting more than PASTE_AS_FILE_THRESHOLD (4000) characters into a turn-based composer now uploads a `pasted-text.txt` attachment instead of writing thousands of characters into the body. Opt-in per editor: chat, new comment, reply and comment edit pass the threshold; issue and project descriptions deliberately do not, because there a long paste IS the content. The synthesised File goes through the existing upload pipeline unchanged (nothing in it inspects a File's origin), so draft persistence, status chips and .txt preview all come for free. Recovery is the part that needed real design. A dropped file survives a failed upload on disk; this text exists nowhere else — it was never written into the document and its source tab may be closed. Since uploads outlive their mount (MUL-5181), the editor cannot own that recovery, so useCoordinatedUploads does: deliverPastedTextBack mirrors deliverFinishedUpload (live editor, else the persisted body) and is the single responder, so the live and dead cases can neither both fire nor both be skipped. The text is restored as markdown because markdown-paste is what would have handled it had it never been converted. A paste inside a code block stays inline — opening a fence is the request to show the thing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * test(editor): pin the paste handler order against the real extension array Both markdownPaste and fileUpload register catch-all handlePaste handlers, so which one ProseMirror consults first decides whether paste-as-file works at all. That ordering is not visible in either file: Tiptap reverses the extension array before collecting plugins (@tiptap/core `get plugins()`), and neither extension sets a priority, so the array position in createEditorExtensions is the whole contract. The existing tests mounted the fileUpload extension alone and could not see it. This one builds the production array via createEditorExtensions; swapping the two entries makes it fail. feat(drafts): unified draft lifecycle + upload ownership inversion (MUL-5181) (#5900)
* feat(drafts): unified draft lifecycle + upload ownership inversion (MUL-5181) Unify how every composer preserves unsent work, sends, and handles uploads. L1 foundation (packages/core/drafts): - createDraftStore factory + self-registering cleanup-registry replacing the hand-maintained WORKSPACE_SCOPED_KEYS list; register-all-drafts guarantees registration completeness. Fixes the confirmed cross-user draft leak (persistence + in-memory) on logout / workspace delete. L3 send paradigm: - useComposerSubmit: one await-then-render contract (lock/spin, keep-on-fail, clear-on-success, single-flight, submit-time upload-gate), adopted by comment/reply/edit, create-issue, quick-create, and chat. Per-surface: - Comment/Reply/Edit: attachments moved into the persisted draft. - Create Issue: draft split into shared/manual/agent/activeMode with non-destructive mode switching + migration for old flat drafts. - Chat: optimistic send converted to await-then-render (kept server-driven cancel restore_to_input); chat draft keys registered for cleanup. L2 upload coordinator (ownership inversion, Linear-validated shape): - upload-coordinator + DraftUpload placeholder: uploads owned by a module coordinator that outlives the component, state persisted in the draft; AbortController + abort-on-logout; interrupted-on-reload. Comment surface fully wired. Create-issue/chat upload wiring is a documented residual. Verified: core + views typecheck clean; core 1064 + views 2928 tests pass. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): close three review gaps in the unified draft lifecycle (MUL-5181) 1. Logout resurrection: reset in-memory draft stores BEFORE removing their persisted keys — each reset is a setState and persist writes it straight back under the still-active slug, so the old order re-created the deleted keys. The issue draft store's reset is now a full reset including lastAssignee, which clearDraft deliberately re-seeds and would otherwise hand the previous user's last-picked assignee to the next login. 2. Submit gate blind spot: the composer gate now also reads the draft's coordinator-owned upload placeholders (hasUploadingDraft). A composer reopened over a still-in-flight upload could previously send past the editor-only gate, clearing the draft out from under the settling upload. 3. Attachment binding returns to reference-filtering: a submit binds only uploads the body references, so deleting an inline image really unbinds it. An upload that settles after its mount died gets its markdown link written back into the body instead — via the reopened composer's live editor (new ContentEditorRef.insertMarkdownAtEnd) or appended to the persisted draft (new appendToDraftContent) — so close-surviving files stay visible, deletable, and honestly bound. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): harden upload write-back delivery after independent review Review of the previous commit (fresh-context reviewer + probe against real @tiptap/react) found the write-back could still lose a file: - insertMarkdownAtEnd now returns a boolean: the imperative handle exists from first commit but the Tiptap instance arrives in a passive effect, so an insert in that window (or after destroy) no-ops. Callers previously assumed it landed. - Write-back is now confirmed delivery (deliverFinishedUpload): insert into the live editor and, on success, persist the same body as insurance against the debounced emit being dropped by a quick unmount; append to the store only when NO composer is mounted (a mounted editor's first emit would erase a store-only append); retry while a mounted composer's instance is still warming up. Every attempt re-checks the generation guard and the body reference. - mountedRef flips in a layout effect: React nulls the child editor ref in the unmount commit, and a settle in the gap before passive cleanup saw "mounted" with no editor left to swap. - uploadAndInsertFile guards editor.isDestroyed after the await: now that uploads outlive mounts, the swap/remove paths could dispatch against a destroyed EditorView and escape as an unhandled rejection. - Tests: the reopened-composer test now asserts the editor actually received the insert (it previously passed with liveEditors disabled), plus a warming-up retry case; the mock editor mirrors isDestroyed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(drafts): roll coordinated uploads out to issue-create and chat (MUL-5181 L2) Completes the upload-ownership layer for every composer surface. The generic engine is extracted from the comment implementation into editor/use-coordinated-uploads (UploadDraftBinding adapter: store-backed accessors + registry key + body append), and use-comment-uploads becomes a thin binding over it — behavior unchanged, all comment tests green. Issue-create (manual + agent panels): - shared.attachments migrates Attachment[] -> DraftUpload[]; load normalizes legacy bare rows to `uploaded` and coerces stale `uploading` to `interrupted`. - Uploads are coordinator-owned: placeholder at pick time, survives dialog close, aborts on logout, chips for uploading/failed/interrupted, combined gate on Create and both mode-switch actions. - Write-back targets the body of the MODE that started the upload (manual description vs agent prompt); mount-time prune keeps placeholders and drops only unreferenced `uploaded` entries. Chat (tab + floating window): - inputDraftAttachments migrates to DraftUpload[] with load-time normalization; new store ops (add/settle/fail/remove upload, append-to- draft) mirror the comment store. - ChatInput adopts the engine; the upload target is snapshotted at pick time via resolveUploadTarget so a file dropped while the editor is pinned to a previous session's document files under THAT draft. - uploadMapRef is gone — the draft's uploads are the single binding source, reference-filtered at send. Hosts no longer own transport: onUploadFile prop becomes uploadEnabled, and the controller/window drop uploadWithToast. - commitDraft prunes only `uploaded` entries the body no longer references; placeholders survive keystrokes (chips are their only UI). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): harden L2 rollout after independent review - attachmentToDraftUpload now strips the response-scoped signed download_url before the row is persisted (draft uploads survive restarts; a stale signature 403s the preview on reopen). Covers comments, issue-create, and chat in one place; issue-create's settle reuses the helper, and the Signature assertion the rollout had dropped is restored. - chat's live-editor registry follows the LOADED draft key (reactive mirror of editorDraftKeyRef): a settle for draft B must not insert into an editor still pinned to draft A's document. - removeUpload aborts an in-flight request before dropping its placeholder. - issue-create hasDraft counts only uploaded/uploading entries so a failed remnant can't pin the sidebar draft dot forever. - Tests: mutation-proof coverage for the two placeholder-preservation rules (create-issue mount prune, chat commitDraft prune) — both previously survived rule inversion; direct core tests for the five new chat store upload ops incl. persistence and signed-URL stripping; quick-create test gets the editor i18n namespace; dead uploadWithToast scaffolding removed from both modal tests; chat-input mock aligned with the real append semantics. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): close third-round review gaps in the upload engine - The live-editor registry registers in a layout effect: chat's adopt swaps the editor's document and loaded key synchronously during commit, and a passive re-registration one task later left a settle window where the old key mapped to an editor already holding another draft's document. The registry key is also built only when a binding exists. - removeUpload aborts only a request THIS surface tracks as `uploading` (guarded before the abort), with the comment now honest about the path being defensive — no current chip exposes ✕ mid-upload. - Mutation-proof test for the loaded-key registry rule: a dead mount's settle for a pinned draft must insert into the editor HOLDING it, not the selected one (verified to fail with the registry keyed by selection). - hasDraft upload semantics pinned by tests (uploaded/uploading count; failed/interrupted remnants don't pin the sidebar dot). - Dead scaffolding dropped: identity use-file-upload mocks and a redundant assertion in the modal tests. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): stale-submit draft guard + registry layout timing (review BLOCKED items) Blocker 1 — a submit that outlives its composer may only consume the draft it submitted (MUL-5181 P0). Every accepted-submit clear is now guarded: - create-issue / quick-create snapshot the singleton draft's object identity at submit; a dead panel clears (and records last-assignee/mode) only if the draft is untouched, and never runs close/reset effects. A replaced draft B typed after close survives a late success of draft A. - comment / reply / edit snapshot the per-key draft entry; a dead composer clears only the exact entry it submitted. - chat snapshots the sent slot's value; a dead mount's commitInput clears only an unreplaced draft. Mutation-verified tests for the create panels and comments (guard inverted => tests fail), plus untouched-draft control cases. Blocker 2 — the live-editor registry is now genuinely registered in a layout effect. The prior commit claimed this fix but a test-time `git checkout --` discarded the unstaged engine edits before committing; re-applied: layout registration, binding-gated registry key, and the tracked-only abort in removeUpload. New registry timing test captures the registry from a parent layout effect across a key switch — verified to fail with passive registration. Also: `multica:chat:selectedProjectId` joins the workspace-scoped cleanup list (was leaking across logout; flagged as a pre-existing risk). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): mounted submits also clear only the draft they submitted The stale-submit snapshot guard previously protected only dead composers; a mounted one cleared unconditionally on success. But the editor stays interactive during a request (Tiptap cannot toggle editable post-mount), so text typed while draft A was in flight was wiped by A's success. The guard is now unconditional across every surface: success consumes exactly the submitted snapshot, and any later edit survives. - create-issue / quick-create: the editor's pending debounce is flushed into the store BEFORE snapshotting (a late flush of pre-submit typing must not read as a mid-flight edit); a touched draft skips clear AND close/reset — the dialog stays open on the newer work. Untouched behavior unchanged. - comment / reply / edit: same flush + snapshot; a touched entry keeps both the store draft and the editor content (edit mode stays open on it). - chat: commitInput's value compare now applies while mounted too, and the editor is scrubbed only for an untouched draft. - use-composer-submit docs no longer claim "editor locked": they state the real contract — send affordance locks, edits after submit survive. Regression tests: mounted mid-flight-edit cases for manual create (incl. "dialog must not close over draft B"), quick create, comment, and chat, plus mounted-untouched controls. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(drafts): idempotent draft writes so a tab switch cannot resurrect a posted comment Final-review blocker: the comment/reply visibilitychange/pagehide flush re-writes IDENTICAL content on every tab switch, and writeDraft minted a new entry object each call — the stale-submit guard's identity compare then read a mid-flight tab switch as "edited during the request", kept the posted comment's draft alive, and left Send enabled for a duplicate. - writeDraft is now a no-op when content and uploads are unchanged (also kills a spurious persist write per tab switch). Regression tests: entry identity preserved on identical setDraft (core), and the reproduced tab-switch-mid-send scenario clears the posted draft (views) — verified to fail with the idempotence removed. - onAccepted now flushes the editor's pending debounce before judging `untouched` on every surface, so typing still inside the debounce window counts as a mid-flight edit instead of being scrubbed. - create-issue records last-assignee/mode from the SUBMITTED values, outside the untouched gate — a created issue updates the preference even when the dialog stays open on newer edits. - Stale guard comments corrected in both create panels; the use-composer-submit docstring no longer claims project/feedback were migrated (they still hand-roll await-then-clear; registered debt). feat(autopilots): redesign the autopilot schedule editor (#5457)
Replace the free-form trigger-config form with a structured schedule editor built on an orthogonal cron model: separate frequency, time, and day-of-week/day-of-month dimensions map to and from cron expressions via a dedicated grammar and mapping layer, with validation and a human-readable describe() summary. The grammar suite drives the editor against a combinatorially generated corpus of 51,755 distinct cron expressions - every token form of every field, crossed - each judged against a reference robfig/cron v3 parser. Add a server-side /autopilot/cron-preview endpoint (plus schema and React Query hook) so the editor shows upcoming run times, and echo wildcard-carrying cron lists correctly instead of collapsing them. Supporting pieces: timezone-aware formatting helper, segmented-toggle and debounced-value utilities, a reworked time-input, and refreshed en/ja/ko/zh-Hans locale strings. |

fix(editor): drop underline mark so pasted rich text stops emitting ++ (#5471)
StarterKit registers Tiptap's Underline extension by default. It maps both `<u>` and `text-decoration: underline` to an underline mark and serializes that mark as `++text++` — a syntax neither CommonMark nor GFM defines. The display layer (ReadonlyContent: react-markdown + remark-gfm) has no rule for it, so a saved comment rendered the delimiters literally. Disable the extension in the shared StarterKit config rather than filtering `u` out of the rich-HTML paste selector: the mark is also reachable via the extension's own Mod-u shortcut, so a paste-only fix would leave Cmd+U able to produce the same unrenderable Markdown. Removing the extension also removes its `++text++` markdown tokenizer, so existing text containing `++` now round-trips as literal text instead of being silently reinterpreted as an underline mark. This is shared editor config: it applies to every ContentEditor surface (issue comments, issue descriptions, chat, agent prompts), not just the comment box. No toolbar control, command, or stylesheet referenced the mark. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> |

feat(settings): open issue links in new tab by default, configurable in preferences (#5445)
Issue mention chips in descriptions (tiptap), comments (readonly markdown), and chat now open the linked issue in a new tab on plain click — a browser tab on web, a foreground app tab on desktop. A new Settings → Preferences switch (default on) restores in-place navigation when turned off; the preference persists via a zustand store. AppLink now honors target="_blank": desktop delegates to the navigation adapter's openInNewTab with activate, web leaves the native anchor behavior intact. This also fixes dead cmd/ctrl-click on web for comment and editor mentions, which previously preventDefault'd without an adapter fallback. fix(editor): open mention/slash popup upward and clamp height to viewport (#5376)
The `@`-mention and `/`-command suggestion popups defaulted to `placement: "bottom-start"`, so they stayed below the caret whenever any space existed below it — even when far more room was above. In bottom-anchored composers (chat input, issue comment/reply) that meant the list opened down over the send controls and, near the viewport bottom, was squashed or clipped off-screen. Two compounding causes: - The preferred side was the cramped one. Composers' roomy side is above the caret, so default to `top-start`; `flip` still sends it down when the caret is near the viewport top. - The floating-ui `size` middleware wrote `maxHeight` on the outer wrapper, which does not clip — the inner list is the scroll container and carried its own fixed `max-h-[300px]/[420px]`. That viewport-unaware cap was the real height authority and could overflow. Publish the size middleware's `availableHeight` as a CSS var and have the list clamp to `min(designMax, availableHeight)`, so there is a single, viewport-aware height authority. Drop the old `Math.max(120, ...)` floor that forced overflow in tight bands. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

The bare-Enter submit path already refuses to fire while view.composing is true, but Mod-Enter had no such guard. refactor(ui): unify ActorAvatar size tiers + round all avatars & cropper (MUL-4277, MUL-4184) (#5133)
* refactor(ui): converge ActorAvatar size to semantic tiers (MUL-4277) Replace the free-form numeric `size` on ActorAvatar with a constrained `AvatarSize` union (xs/sm/md/lg/xl/2xl) so avatar dimensions are chosen by role instead of ad-hoc pixels. This eliminates the magic-number drift where the same role rendered at different sizes across pages. - Add `@multica/ui/lib/avatar-size` (AvatarSize union + AVATAR_SIZE_PX map + default tier). - Base `ActorAvatar` (packages/ui) and business `ActorAvatar`/`AgentStatusDot` (packages/views) now take `AvatarSize`; internal font/icon math and the presence-dot threshold read px from the map. - Migrate all web/desktop call sites (packages/ui + packages/views) from numeric sizes to tiers using the role table (12,14->xs 16,18,20->sm 22,24,28->md 30,32,34->lg 40,44->xl 56,64->2xl). - Token-ise the derived consumers `AgentAvatarStack` and `IssueAgentActivityIndicator` (px looked up internally for overlap/+N math). Out of scope (per plan): ui/avatar.tsx primitive, account-tab/AvatarPicker, mobile, and component-name disambiguation. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(ui): unify all avatars and the upload cropper to round (MUL-4277, MUL-4184) main's avatar-shape decision rendered non-human actors (agent, squad, system) and the workspace logo as rounded squares, and the upload cropper mirrored that with a square crop window. Per the updated decision (avatars_and_cropper_round_required), every avatar and the crop UI are now circular; the square path is removed rather than left as dead config. - Base ActorAvatar: always rounded-full (drop the isHuman/rounded-md split). - avatar-crop-dialog: remove the AvatarCropShape/square path; crop window is always cropShape="round". - avatar-upload-control: drop VARIANT_SHAPE; the control is always round and no longer threads a shape to the dialog (variant still drives the fallback). - Strip rounded-md/rounded-none square overrides from agent/squad/member ActorAvatar call sites; round the read-only agent/squad static wrappers. - WorkspaceAvatar: round the org logo so it matches the (now round) workspace upload/crop and the shared avatar shape. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(ui): make round avatar shape a hard invariant (MUL-4277) Close the two remaining square squad-avatar paths flagged in review and prevent call sites from re-squaring the avatar: - base ActorAvatar: keep `rounded-full` as the last class in cn() so a call-site `className` can no longer override the circle. - SquadHeaderAvatar: drop `className="rounded"` (was overriding the base circle into a small rounded square). - SquadsPage no-avatar fallback: route through the shared ActorAvatarBase (`isSquad size="lg"`) instead of a hand-written rounded-md tile, so the fallback matches the image path — one shape source of truth. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(views): round the agent/squad avatar loading skeletons (MUL-4277) The avatar placeholder skeletons on the agent/squad list, detail, and profile-card loading states were still rounded squares (rounded-md/lg) from the pre-round era, so the avatar visibly popped from square to circle on load — inconsistent with the round avatars and with the member/inbox/issue skeletons that already use rounded-full. Round all five: agents-page, agent-detail-page, squads-page, squad-detail-page, squad-profile-card. feat(editor): Linear-style issue identifier autolink (MUL-4241) (#5090)
* feat(editor): Linear-style issue identifier autolink (MUL-4241) Bare issue identifiers (e.g. MUL-123, TES-1) now render as navigable issue chips and can be typed/pasted into a real mention, instead of staying inert text. Covers Phase 1 (readonly render) and Phase 2 (editable editor); the Phase 3 batch resolve API is intentionally deferred. Phase 1 — readonly render autolink - Pure, markdown-aware detector `preprocessIssueIdentifiers` in @multica/ui/markdown rewrites bare identifiers to `[MUL-123](mention://issue/MUL-123)`, skipping code, existing links, URLs, and file/path tokens. Runs before linkify/file-card. - `isIssueIdentifier` distinguishes a bare identifier from a real mention UUID at render time (a UUID never matches the identifier pattern). - Chat markdown and comment/description readonly both resolve identifiers to a real issue via a workspace-scoped, exact-match TanStack Query (`issueIdentifierOptions`), rendering a chip on a hit and plain text on a miss / cross-workspace / while loading. The exact `identifier ===` filter enforces the workspace prefix, since the backend search matches by number. - Autolink is opt-in per surface; the shared editable preprocess pipeline is untouched so editable content is never rewritten with fake mentions. Phase 2 — editable editor input/paste - Async ProseMirror plugin resolves a completed identifier (boundary typed after it, or found in pasted text) and swaps it for an issue mention node, serialising to canonical `[MUL-123](mention://issue/<uuid>)`. Only genuine user edits seed candidates (programmatic setContent is gated), so opening existing content never rewrites it. Resolver injected from the setup layer; no React hooks inside the extension. Tests: detector (code/link/url/path skips, dedupe), core resolver (exact match, wrong-prefix miss, empty response, key shape), chat + readonly render (hit/miss/code/canonical), and the editable extension (type/paste/miss/ inline-code/mount-safe/incomplete-token). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): scope Phase 2 autolink to the captured candidate range (MUL-4241) Howard final-review blocker: the async resolve rescanned the whole document for every occurrence of the resolved identifier, so completing a new `MUL-1` also rewrote a pre-existing `MUL-1` the user never touched (persisted-content rewrite; violated "opening existing content is not rewritten"). Fix: capture the specific candidate range(s) a user transaction introduces — the token before the caret when typing, the tokens inside the pasted slice on paste — into plugin state, mapping each range forward on every subsequent transaction. After async resolve, replace ONLY those mapped ranges, verifying each still holds exactly that identifier with intact boundaries and no code/link mark. No document-wide scan by identifier. Also skip link-marked text at capture so an existing link label is never converted. Regression tests: (1) typing a new MUL-1 converts only the new occurrence, not a pre-existing identical one; (2) paste converts identifiers inside the paste range but leaves an identical one outside it untouched; (3) an identifier already carrying an explicit link mark is not replaced. fix(chat): refresh Chat V2 input placeholder without remount (MUL-4276) (#5111)
Tiptap's Placeholder only reads its text at mount, and ContentEditor had a defaultValue-sync effect but no placeholder-sync effect. Switching between sessions of the same agent doesn't remount the editor, so the placeholder froze on the previous value — e.g. stuck on "This session is archived" after visiting an archived session, even on an active, usable input. Mutating the extension's string option at runtime does not repaint (Tiptap snapshots a string placeholder at mount). A function placeholder, however, is re-invoked on every decoration pass, so: - extensions: `placeholder` option now accepts `string | (() => string)`. - content-editor: pass a getter over a live `placeholderRef`; a new sync effect updates the ref and dispatches an empty transaction (docChanged=false, no onUpdate loop) to force a decoration recompute — no remount required. This also fixes placeholder staleness when the session/agent archive state changes. - chat-input: update the editorKey comment (placeholder no longer relies on the agent-switch remount). - tests: getter reads the live value + one repaint on change; no repaint when the placeholder prop is unchanged. MUL-4016: fix mention tokenizer stacktrace backtracking (#4889)
* MUL-4016: fix mention tokenizer stacktrace backtracking Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): de-ambiguate escaped-label regexes to kill ReDoS (MUL-4016) The mention/slash/file-card label regexes used `(?:\\.|[^\]])` where both alternatives can consume a backslash. On an unterminated match, each `\x` run is enumerated 2^n ways — pasting a Java stacktrace (`\~\[...\]`) or a crafted ~50-char string freezes the main thread for seconds (GitHub #4881). Exclude backslash from the char class (`[^\]\\]`) so a backslash can only be consumed by `\\.`. The alternatives become disjoint and matching is linear; legal escaped-bracket labels like `David\[TF\]` still parse unchanged. Fixed in all four sites that shared the pattern: - mention-extension.ts tokenize() - slash-command-extension.ts start() + tokenize() - file-card.tsx FILE_CARD_MARKDOWN_RE - packages/ui/markdown/file-cards.ts NEW_FILE_CARD_RE (runs on every read-only comment/description render, not just the editor) Adds adversarial regression tests (repeated `\a` + missing closing bracket) that fail in ~10-40s against the old regexes and pass in <1ms after the fix. Builds on #4889's marker-first mention start(). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): escape backslash in mention/slash labels for round-trip (MUL-4016) Follow-up to the de-ambiguation fix, addressing Howard's PR review. The linear tokenizer now treats "\" as an escape lead (\\.), so a label whose serialized form contains a bare "\" adjacent to the closing "]" no longer parses back — the "\]" is consumed as an escaped bracket and swallows the boundary. The old ambiguous regex tolerated this by chance; the de-ambiguation exposes it. mention/slash renderMarkdown escaped only [ and ], not \. Switch both to the shared escapeMarkdownLabel() (escapes [ ] \ ( )) and mirror it on parse with replace(/\\([[\]\\()])/g, "$1"), matching what file-card already does. This also converges the three tokenizers on one escape contract. file-card was already correct and is unchanged. Adds parameterized round-trip tests for labels containing "\" / "\]" / parens (e.g. "A\\", "ends\\", "a\\]b"); these fail on the old serializer and pass now. feat(composio): gate MCP apps behind feature flag (#4876)
* feat(composio): server-side connect flow + connections REST (Notion MVP) (MUL-3720) (#4608)
* feat(composio): server-side connect flow + connections REST (Notion MVP) (MUL-3720)
Compose the merged server/pkg/composio SDK into a user-facing connection
manager: signed-state connect handshake, local user_composio_connection
mirror, idempotent disconnect, and a per-user MCP session helper (not yet
wired into task dispatch).
- migration 127_user_composio_connection (no FK/cascade, per DB rules)
- sqlc queries: upsert (idempotent on user_id+connected_account_id), list
active, owner-scoped get, mark revoked
- internal/integrations/composio: signed HMAC-SHA256 state, BeginConnect,
CompleteCallback (idempotent upsert), ListConnections, Disconnect
(upstream 404 = idempotent success), CreateMCPSession (no-op when empty,
pins connected_accounts per toolkit), CallbackRedirect
- REST handlers under /api/integrations/composio (user-scoped, 503 when
COMPOSIO_API_KEY unset): connect/init, callback (302), connections list,
delete
- router wiring gated by COMPOSIO_API_KEY; COMPOSIO_AUTH_CONFIGS_JSON maps
toolkit->auth_config (MVP: notion); state secret from COMPOSIO_STATE_SECRET
or derived from JWT_SECRET; callback base from COMPOSIO_CALLBACK_BASE_URL
or MULTICA_PUBLIC_URL
- tests: state (expire/tamper/wrong-secret), service (mapping, callback
idempotency, non-success, disconnect owner/404 idempotency, MCP pin),
handlers (httptest), redact regression for Bearer mcp_ tokens
MVP scope: Notion only; no task-dispatch overlay, sharing, or webhook
event handling (later stages).
Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>
* fix(composio): bind callback account to user + idempotent revoked disconnect (MUL-3720)
Address PR 4608 review (CHANGES_REQUESTED):
- callback: verify connected_account_id with Composio before mirroring it.
The signed state only proved user/toolkit/exp, so a valid state paired with
a tampered connected_account_id would be written verbatim. CompleteCallback
now calls ListConnectedAccounts and fails closed (ErrAccountVerification)
unless the account belongs to the state's user (composio_user_id == multica
user id) and was created under the toolkit's auth config. No row is written
on mismatch / unknown account / upstream error.
- disconnect: short-circuit to a no-op when the local row is already revoked,
before touching upstream. Previously a second DELETE re-hit Composio and a
non-404 upstream error surfaced as a 502, breaking the 204-idempotent
contract.
- CreateMCPSession: document the v1 single-active-connection-per-(user,toolkit)
constraint and make duplicate selection deterministic (newest-wins, rows are
connected_at DESC) instead of order-dependent map overwrite. Stage 3 owns the
real single-account-enforcement vs multi-account-shape decision.
Tests: tampered/wrong-auth-config/unknown-account callback rejection, revoked-row
disconnect no-op (asserts upstream not re-hit). composio pkg 85% coverage; all
green.
Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>
* feat(composio): list all toolkits + dynamic auth-config resolution (MUL-3720)
Yushen's follow-up to the Notion MVP: surface the full Composio toolkit
catalog, render it in Settings, and drop the static env mapping in favor of
dynamic auth-config discovery.
Config correctness (per Composio docs):
- Remove COMPOSIO_AUTH_CONFIGS_JSON entirely. The toolkit→auth_config mapping
is now resolved at request time from the project's /auth_configs (cached,
5-min TTL), so enabling a toolkit is a dashboard action, not a redeploy.
- Do NOT add COMPOSIO_PROJECT_ID. The project API key (x-api-key) authenticates
to exactly one project; the project is resolved from the key. Only org-level
endpoints use x-org-api-key, which this integration never calls.
Backend:
- SDK: server/pkg/composio/auth_configs.go — ListAuthConfigs (toolkit_slug,
is_composio_managed, show_disabled, limit, cursor).
- service: dynamic resolver (authConfigMap cache; betterAuthConfig prefers a
custom/white-label config over Composio-managed, newest wins); BeginConnect
and CompleteCallback resolve via it; ListToolkits fetches the full catalog
(paginated, capped) annotated with connectable = has an enabled auth config,
connectable-first ordering.
- handler + route: GET /api/integrations/composio/toolkits (user-scoped, 503
when COMPOSIO_API_KEY unset) returning slug/name/logo/category/connectable.
Frontend:
- core: ComposioToolkit/ComposioConnection types, api client methods, and
composio query options (@multica/core/composio).
- views: Settings → Integrations now has a Composio section rendering every
toolkit as a card with search. Connect is gated on `connectable`;
non-connectable toolkits show a muted "not configured" hint instead of a
dead button. Connected toolkits show a badge + Disconnect (with confirm).
- i18n: composio block added to en/zh-Hans/ja/ko settings.
Tests: SDK + service (dynamic resolution, custom-over-managed preference,
connectable flag, resolver-error soft-degrade) and handler toolkits endpoint;
composio pkg 85.7% coverage. go build/vet/gofmt clean; core+views typecheck,
core+views lint, and core tests (691) all green.
Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>
* fix(composio): close cross-toolkit callback fail-open by signing auth_config_id into state (MUL-3720)
Re-review blocker: CompleteCallback resolved the toolkit's auth config at
callback time and ignored a resolve error/empty result, while
verifyAccountOwnership skipped the auth-config comparison when the expected
value was empty. A user could then pass another toolkit's connected_account_id
into this toolkit's callback — the owner check passed and it was written under
the wrong toolkit_slug/account binding.
Fix: the auth_config_id is already resolved in BeginConnect (before the state
is signed), so sign it into the state and compare it exactly at callback. No
re-resolve, no fail-open. verifyAccountOwnership now fails closed when the
expected auth config is empty (rejects instead of skipping) and requires an
exact match — closing the cross-toolkit binding gap.
Tests: state round-trips auth_config_id; BeginConnect signs it; callback
rejects wrong/cross-toolkit auth config and an empty (no-mapping) auth config
fails closed. composio pkg 85.2% coverage, all green.
Frontend (non-blocking): the Composio settings tab now surfaces an error when
the connections query fails instead of silently rendering everything as
unconnected.
Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>
* fix(composio): hide Settings section entirely when integration unconfigured (MUL-3720)
Decision (option 2, hide-then-merge): don't show a card that leaks the internal
COMPOSIO_API_KEY env-var name to every end user. IntegrationsTab now gates the
whole Composio section (heading + body) on the toolkits query — a 503 means the
key is unset, so the section is withheld instead of rendering the not-configured
card. Admin-only setup guidance is a later, role-gated affordance.
Removed the notConfigured card (and now-unused ApiError import) from
ComposioTab; it only mounts when configured. views typecheck + lint clean.

* fix(composio): callback endpoint should not require Multica auth (MUL-3843) (#4709)
* fix(composio): move OAuth callback out of the Auth group (MUL-3843)
Composio 302-redirects the browser to /api/integrations/composio/callback
at the end of the OAuth flow, but PR #4608 mounted it inside the cookie-auth
middleware group. When the session cookie is absent (expired session,
SameSite=Strict / Safari ITP, private window, self-hosted callback subdomain)
the Auth middleware returned a hard 401 and a JSON blob instead of the
settings redirect, breaking the flow.
Identity never came from the cookie anyway: it is carried by the HMAC-signed
state param that CompleteCallback verifies (signature, expiry, replay) and
cross-checked by verifyAccountOwnership; h.Composio == nil still 503s. So the
callback is registered alongside the other public OAuth/webhook routes; the
other four composio endpoints stay session-gated.

* fix(composio): correct stale callback routing comments (MUL-3843)
The package header and ComposioCallback doc comments still described the

moved out (this PR), update both to state it is a public route whose identity
comes from the signed state — addressing review nit from 张大彪.

* feat(composio): inject MCP overlay into agent runtime at task dispatch (MUL-3721) (#4704)
Stage 3 of the Composio epic. Wires the per-user Composio MCP session into
every agent task so the agent process sees the initiator's connected tools
without any prompt-time plumbing.
Server side
- Migration 128 adds agent_task_queue.runtime_mcp_overlay JSONB plus a
BEFORE-UPDATE trigger that wipes the column on any transition into a
terminal status (completed / failed / cancelled). A trigger is the single
source of truth — future queries that flip status cannot bypass it.
- composio.Service.BuildTaskOverlay(userID) reuses CreateMCPSession and
emits the Claude-style { mcpServers: { composio: { type: http, url,
headers } } } shape the daemon's existing sidecar generators consume.
Returns (nil, nil) on zero active connections so we never burn a
Composio session for a user with nothing to call.
- TaskService grows a Composio ComposioOverlayBuilder seam, wired in
router.go after composiointeg.NewService succeeds. Five enqueue paths
(issue / mention / quick-create / chat / auto-retry) attach the overlay
after CreateAgentTask returns and before the daemon is notified — so
every claim reads a settled row, with no second daemon hop. Best-effort:
a builder failure logs and proceeds with no overlay.
- resolveInitiatorFromTriggerComment derives the initiator user from the
trigger comment when it was authored by a member. Agent-authored
triggers are not treated as initiators (their connected-apps view is
empty by construction).
Daemon side
- handler/daemon.go claim path merges task.runtime_mcp_overlay onto
agent.mcp_config via mergeMCPOverlay before populating
TaskAgentData.McpConfig. Overlay wins on server-name collisions
because it carries the live user-scoped session URL. Errors fall back
to the agent config unchanged — a bad overlay must not surprise-disable
saved MCP tools. The existing execenv sidecar generators (cursor /
codex / openclaw / opencode / hermes-kiro) need no changes: they keep
consuming the merged result through TaskAgentData.McpConfig.
Tests
- 9 merge cases (mcp_overlay_test): both-nil short-circuit, agent-only
pass-through, overlay-only canonicalization, two-side merge, name
collision (overlay wins), top-level key preservation, malformed agent
fallback, malformed overlay fallback, non-object server rejection.
- 4 dispatch cases (composio): zero-connections returns nil without
CreateSession, happy-path emits the right shape with the right user
id, empty-URL defensive branch, SDK error surfacing.
- 4 TaskService helper cases: nil Composio is a no-op (Queries-safe),
invalid initiator does not call the builder, nil overlay skips the
UPDATE, builder error swallowed without panic.
- Migration 128 verified to roll up + down + up cleanly against the test
database.
Out of scope (deferred): assignment-triggered enqueue paths with no
trigger comment get no overlay attached today (no initiator UUID flows
through enqueueIssueTask in that case). Retry paths recompute the overlay
fresh from the parent's initiator_user_id instead of inheriting the bearer
from the parent row, so a stale token can never resurface on a retry.

* feat(composio): per-agent allowlist + originator-scoped MCP overlay (MUL-3869) (#4736)
* feat(composio): per-agent allowlist + originator-scoped MCP overlay (MUL-3869)
Stage 3.1 of the Composio epic (MUL-3721 parent). PR #4704 wired in the
runtime_mcp_overlay column and a per-task dispatch hook; this change
inverts the default from "all-on" to opt-in and locks the overlay to the
agent owner's own connected apps:
- Agents carry composio_toolkit_allowlist TEXT[]. NULL or [] => no MCP.
Owner-only read/write; non-owner GET/PUT silently redacts/drops the
field (same shape as mcp_config).
- agent_task_queue carries originator_user_id UUID. Set from the
top-of-chain HUMAN at every enqueue path:
* issue/mention comment by member -> author_id
* issue/mention comment by agent -> inherit via comment.source_task_id
-> parent task originator_user_id
* quick-create -> requester_id
* chat -> initiator_user_id
* retry -> SQL-inherited from parent row
* autopilot -> NULL (system-driven)
- BuildTaskOverlay (composio dispatch) now takes (ctx, originatorUserID,
agent) and short-circuits on five gates: invalid originator,
originator != agent.owner_id, empty allowlist, empty intersection of
allowlist ∩ active connections, defensive empty session URL. Composio
CreateSession is called with BOTH `toolkits.slugs` (the intersection)
AND `connected_accounts` (the pinned account ids), narrowing the
tool-router twice.
- The originator-vs-owner gate closes the agent-fanout privacy hole: any
workspace member who can @-mention a public agent used to project the
owner's connected apps into their run. Now the overlay only mounts
when the human at the top of the chain IS the agent owner.
Tests:
- dispatch_test.go covers all 5 gates plus uppercase/whitespace slug
normalisation.
- task_runtime_mcp_overlay_test.go covers the no-op gates of the new
applyRuntimeMCPOverlay signature.
- agent_composio_allowlist_test.go (handler): owner roundtrip
(list/empty/null), workspace-admin silent-drop, owner-only GET
visibility, pure normaliseComposioToolkitAllowlist.
- resolve_originator_test.go (service, DB-backed): member-authored,
agent-authored inherits via comment.source_task_id, invalid id.
Migration 129 up/down/up verified against docker postgres.

In a list item that cannot indent (first child / max depth), Tab was returned unhandled, so the browser's native Tab moved focus out of the editor onto adjacent controls. Decouple "swallow the key" from "did the indent move anything": best-effort indent, then swallow whenever the caret is inside the list (editor.isActive(name)) and only fall through to focus navigation when not in a list. fix(editor): indent multi-item list selection on Tab (MUL-3697) (#4587)
Stock prosemirror-schema-list `sinkListItem` returns false without dispatching whenever `range.startIndex === 0`, so selecting a list from the top and pressing Tab did nothing. Bullet, ordered, and task lists all routed through the same command and were equally affected. Wrap the shared Tab keymap (PatchedListItem + PatchedTaskItem) with `sinkListItemRange`: try stock sink first, and when it bails on a multi-item range whose first item is the list's first child, re-run the stock command on a selection narrowed to start inside the second selected item. The first item stays as an anchor and the rest nest under it (Notion/GitHub nested-list behaviour), in a single undoable transaction. Shift-Tab / liftListItem already handles ranges and the first-item case, so it is unchanged. No schema change. feat(editor): accept highlighted composer suggestion on Tab (MUL-3685) (#4570)
* feat(editor): accept highlighted composer suggestion on Tab Plain Tab now accepts the highlighted mention / slash-command suggestion, matching Enter, across every composer built on the shared TipTap editor (chat, issue description, comment/reply). A single shared isPickerAcceptKey predicate centralizes the accept-key policy so the two picker lists stay in sync instead of each re-deciding what counts as accept. Shift+Tab and Ctrl/Cmd/Alt+Tab are intentionally NOT accept keys, so reverse focus navigation and OS window switching are preserved. When no picker is open, Tab keeps its existing behavior (list indent / focus traversal). Adds unit coverage for both picker lists plus a plugin-order guard that fires Tab through real ProseMirror dispatch with the caret inside a list item, proving the suggestion layer outranks PatchedListItem's Tab -> sinkListItem. Scope: web/desktop shared composer only; mobile and the generic combobox are untouched. Refs: MUL-3685 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * test(editor): make Tab/list-item priority guard actually exercise sinkListItem The guard placed the caret in the first (only) bullet item, where sinkListItem is a no-op (no preceding sibling to nest under), so the test passed regardless of whether the suggestion layer intercepted Tab. fix(editor): track @mention selection by identity, not slot index (MUL-3607) (#4488)
The @mention popup tracked the highlighted row with a positional integer (selectedIndex into displayItems), but rows are rendered in the re-bucketed order produced by groupItems() (current → recent → search → users → issues). An async server "search" result is appended to the END of displayItems yet hoisted near the TOP on render, so the highlighted row and the committed item pointed at different entries — you navigate to one target but mention its neighbour. A separate useEffect also force-reset selectedIndex to 0 on every displayItems change, snapping an active selection back to the first row whenever async results landed. Root cause: a slot index is not a stable target for a list whose order and length change asynchronously. Track selection by item identity instead: - Replace selectedIndex state with selectedKey (the item's `type:id`). - Derive groups/orderedItems (the exact rendered order) and resolve the numeric index from selectedKey against orderedItems; fall back to row 0 when the pinned item is gone or nothing is picked yet. - Keyboard nav, Enter, clicks, highlight, and scroll all index orderedItems, so the highlighted row always equals the committed item. - Drop the force-reset effect; identity-based selection self-heals across reorders and async arrival without resetting an active pick. Adds a regression test asserting the highlighted row equals the committed item when groupItems reorders the list, both initially and after ArrowDown. fix(editor): index @mention selection by rendered order (MUL-3607) (#4487)
The @mention popup navigated and committed by indexing the flat `displayItems` array, but rendered rows in the re-bucketed order from `groupItems()` (current → recent → search → users → issues). In chat (context mode) the async server-search results are appended to the end of `displayItems` yet tagged `group:"search"`, so `groupItems()` hoists them near the top. The highlighted row and the committed item then point at different entries — you select one target but mention its neighbour (the reported "@bohan picks the next one" off-by-one). Make the flattened grouped order (`orderedItems`) the single index space for `selectedIndex`, arrow keys, Enter, and clicks, so the highlighted row is always the committed item. Plain issue-comment mentions (default mode) were already safe — no group tags means `groupItems()` is order-preserving — and stay unchanged. Adds a regression test asserting highlighted row == committed item when the list is reordered by a hoisted search result. fix(editor): stop chat @mention groups from overlapping (#4297)
In context mode (chat) a query merges context items (current page / recently viewed) with search results into one popup. The old contextLayout made only the "Recent" group scrollable (`min-h-0`) while every other group was `shrink-0`, and the Recent `<section>` did not clip its own overflow. When the search groups (Users/Issues) filled the height, the flex algorithm squeezed Recent toward zero and its un-clipped rows painted on top of the groups below — the overlap users saw. Collapse the two render branches into a single `overflow-y-auto` flex column so every group just stacks and the whole popup scrolls; no group can collapse onto another. The context variant only differs in width / max-height / chrome. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(editor): cap issue mention chip at container width, no clickable gap (#4295)
#4288 swapped the chip cap from a fixed `max-w-72` to `max-w-[min(18rem,100%)]`. A percentage max-width on a flex item is dropped while its flex-container wrapper (`<a class="inline-flex">`) computes its own max-content size, so the wrapper ballooned to the untruncated title width while the chip truncated to the cap — leaving an empty, clickable strip after the visible chip. Fix it as standard atomic-inline behavior instead of a fixed magic cap: - IssueChip caps at `max-w-full` with the title truncating to an ellipsis, so it wraps to the next line as a unit and only truncates once a whole line can't hold it. - Drop `inline-flex` from the editor NodeView `<a>` (issue + project) and the markdown AppLink so the chip's only wrapper is a plain inline box with a definite (line-based) percentage basis — no second flex container to balloon. ProjectChip uses a definite `max-w-72`, so it never hit the gap; left as-is. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(attachments): server-driven markdown_url + legacy compat (MUL-3192) (#3991)
Comment / issue / chat images uploaded inside the Desktop app rendered
as the broken-image fallback. The editor was persisting a site-relative
`/api/attachments/<id>/download` URL into markdown — that path only
resolves when the document origin proxies /api to the API host (apps/web
via Next.js rewrite). On Electron's file:// origin it never resolved.
Per GPT-Boy's plan, move the durable-URL choice from the client to the
server so the persisted shape is correct regardless of which client
performed the upload.
Server:
- AttachmentResponse gains a markdown_url field, computed by
buildMarkdownURL from the deployment policy:
• storage URL is already absolute + unsigned (public CDN, S3 public
bucket, LocalStorage with MULTICA_LOCAL_UPLOAD_BASE_URL on https) →
use it verbatim;
• CloudFront-signed mode → never expose the raw S3 URL (private
bucket); return cfg.PublicURL + /api/attachments/<id>/download so
the server can re-sign on every request;
• LocalStorage relative + cfg.PublicURL set → same prefixed API
endpoint;
• cfg.PublicURL unset → fall back to site-relative path so web's
Next.js rewrite still works.
- isDurablePublicURL helper rejects URLs carrying CloudFront / S3
signature query params, so a freshly-signed download_url can never
leak into persistence — the original MUL-3130 bug stays closed.
Frontend:
- Attachment type + AttachmentResponseSchema (and apps/mobile mirror)
carry markdown_url. Schema lenient-defaults to '' so a backend old
enough to predate this field doesn't break clients.
- useFileUpload picks markdownLink with three-layer fallback:
(1) att.markdown_url (modern server),
(2) attachmentDownloadPath(att.id) — legacy site-relative shape,
retained for backends old enough to omit markdown_url,
(3) att.url — no-workspace avatar branch with no attachment-row id.
- attachment.tsx keeps the relative→absolute absolutize pass, but
reframed as the legacy-compat fallback for already-persisted
/api/attachments/<id>/download or /uploads/<key> URLs in old
bodies. New content writes absolute URLs and skips this path.
- ContentEditor still tracks freshly-uploaded records into
AttachmentDownloadProvider so Quick Create's editor can swap the URL
via the resolver during the same session even before the server-side
binding lands.
Tests:
- server/internal/handler/file_test.go: 5 new buildMarkdownURL matrix
tests (public CDN passthrough, CloudFront-signed swap, relative
prefixing, PublicURL unset fallback, trailing-slash strip) + 15
table-driven isDurablePublicURL cases.
- packages/core/hooks/use-file-upload.test.ts: new file, 4 cases
covering modern server / legacy server / no-id avatar / oversize.
- packages/views/editor/attachment.test.tsx + content-editor.test.tsx:
10 cases for the absolutize matrix and in-session attachment merge.
- 6 existing test fixtures updated to include markdown_url.
Verification: 1236 @multica/views tests pass; 514 @multica/core tests
pass (4 new); server handler package tests pass for the new matrix
plus all pre-existing TestAttachmentToResponse* and TestDownload*
cases. Typecheck green for views/core/web/desktop. Lint clean on
touched files.
Quick Create attachment_ids binding (orphaned attachment relationship
on the resulting issue) is a follow-up — it requires a new --attachment-id
CLI flag and daemon prompt-template work and is intentionally scoped
out of this PR.

MUL-3130: persist stable /api/attachments/<id>/download URL in comment markdown (#3937)
* MUL-3130: persist a stable attachment download URL in comment markdown Comment image attachments rendered as broken placeholders ~30 minutes after upload because the editor was persisting a short-lived HMAC-signed URL into the comment body. After PR #3903 (MUL-3132) hardened /uploads/* with auth, `attachmentToResponse` started signing `attachment.url` as `/uploads/<key>?exp=<unix>&sig=<HMAC>` for LocalStorage so token-auth clients could keep loading inline images. The signature has a 30-min TTL by design — but `useFileUpload` was returning that signed value as `link` and the editor was writing `` straight into the markdown, so the comment permanently captured a URL that stopped working as soon as the signature expired. The fix is to persist a stable per-attachment URL that the server can re-sign on every request: * `useFileUpload` now returns `link = /api/attachments/<id>/download` (avatar uploads without an id still fall back to `att.url` so the pre-attachment-row code paths keep working). * `DownloadAttachment` self-resolves the workspace from the attachment row instead of reading X-Workspace-Slug / X-Workspace-ID headers, and the route is registered under the auth-only group so a native browser <img>/<video> resource load (which cannot attach those headers) succeeds. Membership is checked inside the handler with a 404 deny shape so the route does not act as an IDOR oracle. * A new `GetAttachmentByIDOnly` SQL query supports the workspace- derivation step. * `AttachmentDownloadProvider` now extracts the attachment id from the stable URL when matching markdown refs to attachment records, with a fallback to the existing url-equality check for legacy comments (and S3/CloudFront markdown that points straight at the CDN). * `contentReferencesAttachment` covers both URL shapes for the composer / standalone-list dedup paths so an attachment uploaded before the fix and one uploaded after both deduplicate cleanly. Tests: - New unit tests for the URL helpers (16 tests, packages/core). - Backend regression test: bare `<img src>`-style request without workspace headers now succeeds for a member (200) and 404s for a non-member, replacing the previous "400 without workspace context" contract. - Existing TestDownload*, TestServeLocalUpload*, TestAttachmentTo Response* and the 1220 frontend views tests all pass. Refs: MUL-3130, GitHub issue #3891 Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * MUL-3130: address PR review — split markdown link from upload link, swap render src Two follow-ups from GPT-Boy's review on PR #3937. (1) Don't reroute every upload consumer through the workspace-gated download endpoint. The previous change made `useFileUpload`'s `link` field unconditionally return `/api/attachments/<id>/download` whenever the upload had an id. But `useFileUpload` is also used by avatar / logo pickers (account-tab, workspace-tab, agents/avatar-picker, squads/squad-detail-page) that persist `result.link` directly into `avatar_url`. Avatars are referenced cross-workspace (mention chips, member lists, inbox items), so binding their URL to a workspace-membership-gated endpoint would silently break cross-workspace avatar visibility. The fix splits the URL into two semantically distinct fields: - `link` — same as `att.url` (legacy contract). Avatar / logo callers continue to use this and remain on whatever URL semantics the storage backend dictates. - `markdownLink` — the stable per-attachment URL `/api/attachments/<id>/download`. Only the editor's markdown-persisting flow consumes this. Falls back to `link` for the no-workspace upload branch (where there is no attachment-row id to address). `editor/extensions/file-upload.ts` switches `image.src` and `fileCard.href` to `markdownLink ?? link` so comment markdown gets the stable shape while avatar callers stay on `link` unchanged. (2) Make the render-time img src loadable for token-mode clients. Persisting the stable `/api/attachments/<id>/download` URL fixes the expiry problem but the path itself sits behind `middleware.Auth`, which expects either a `multica_auth` cookie or a Bearer token in `Authorization`. Native `<img>`/`<video>` resource loads from token-mode clients (Electron's default mode, the mobile app, legacy-token web sessions) cannot attach the Authorization header, so the bare URL would 401 immediately rather than 30 minutes later. `Attachment.normalize` now runs the resolved record through a new `pickInlineMediaURL` helper that returns: - `record.download_url` when it's an absolute URL with a recognised CDN signature query (CloudFront-signed `Signature` / `Expires` / `Key-Pair-Id`, or `X-Amz-Signature` for raw S3 presigns) — these load as native resource src in any client. - else `record.url`, which on the LocalStorage backend carries a freshly-minted `/uploads/<key>?exp&sig` query whose signature IS the auth (token-mode-loadable). On non-CF S3 backends this is the raw stored URL — same behaviour as today. - else the original input URL (legacy / unresolved markdown keeps its existing path). This gives the same effect for both `kind: "record"` and `kind: "url"` attachment inputs: once a record is in hand, the rendered media src is whichever URL the current backend exposes a working signature on. Tests: - New `file-upload.test.ts` regression pinning that `markdownLink` is what lands in the markdown body when the upload result returns both a short-lived storage URL and a stable download path. - Updated `attachment.test.tsx` to reflect the new render-time swap (the rendered img src now follows the freshly signed URL, not the raw storage URL) and added a record-mode regression pinning the LocalStorage default — when `download_url` is the bare /api/attachments/<id>/download path, the renderer must fall through to the signed `record.url`. - Updated `chat-input.test.tsx` makeUpload helper for the new `markdownLink` UploadResult field. - 1222 frontend views tests + 507 core tests + typecheck across @multica/{core,ui,views} all pass. feat: skip agent triggering on /note-prefixed comments (MUL-3115, #3649) (#3885)
* feat(comments): skip agent triggering on /note-prefixed comments A comment whose first token is the reserved /note prefix (case-insensitive) is stored like any other comment but never wakes an agent. The guard sits at the top of triggerTasksForComment, the single chokepoint, so it covers all three trigger paths — assignee, squad leader, and @mentioned agents. Gating only shouldEnqueueOnComment (as originally proposed) would still let "/note @agent ..." through the mention path. Lets members leave human-only tips/notes on agent-assigned issues without burning an agent run. MUL-3115, closes #3649. Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * feat(editor): add /note built-in slash command to comment composer Enable the `/` menu in the issue comment and reply composers in a new "command" mode that lists fixed built-in commands instead of the chat skill picker. Currently one command, /note, which marks a comment as a human-only note that won't trigger the assigned agent. Selecting it inserts the plain-text "/note " prefix (not a rich node), so a menu pick and a hand-typed command are byte-identical and the backend detects either with a simple prefix match. The command menu renders nothing on a non-matching `/` (hideOnEmpty) so typing a date like 6/8 isn't noisy. The chat skill picker is unchanged. MUL-3115. Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * refactor(editor): match /note by label prefix and localize its description Address PR review feedback: - buildBuiltinCommandItems now matches the command label as a prefix only, dropping the description substring match copied from the skill picker. With one command this keeps the menu predictable (/no surfaces note; /deploy or a description word like /agent shows nothing) and avoids Enter selecting note unexpectedly. - The command description is now a localized UI string: added slash_command.commands.note to all four editor locales (en/ja/ko/zh-Hans) and the menu renders it via the typed translator. The /label itself stays literal since it's the typed token the backend matches. MUL-3115. Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): shorten /note command description to avoid truncation The slash menu item is single-line (truncate, w-72), so the longer copy was cut off. Shorten to "won't trigger any agents" across all four locales — also more accurate, since /note skips assignee, squad leader, and @mentioned agents, not just the assigned one. MUL-3115. fix(clipboard): support copy over http:// via execCommand fallback (#3810)
navigator.clipboard is only exposed in a secure context (https or localhost). Add a shared copyText(text): Promise<boolean> helper in @multica/ui/lib/clipboard that prefers the async Clipboard API and falls back to a hidden <textarea> + document.execCommand('copy') for non-secure contexts. Migrate all direct navigator.clipboard.writeText call sites (code blocks, agent transcript copy-all, token / webhook / issue-link copy, etc.) to it, gating success side-effects on the returned boolean, and remove the now-redundant copyMarkdown wrapper. * fix editor image upload caret placement Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * feat(editor): reserve image box via intrinsic dimensions to kill paste layout shift (#3803) Capture an image's intrinsic width/height on upload and render them as <img width height> so the browser reserves the box before the image decodes. Removes the layout shift that pushed the caret out of view after a pasted-image insert, making the post-insert scrollIntoView correct. - Add width/height node attrs to ImageExtension (render-only; not serialized to markdown, so round-trips stay clean). - Measure dimensions off-thread via createImageBitmap and patch the node after insert. Fire-and-forget so the synchronous-insert contract (instant preview) is preserved; degrades to no-box when the API is unavailable (jsdom). The src swap keeps width/height via attr spread. - Thread width/height through ImageView -> Attachment -> <img>. MUL-2926 feat(editor): support markdown checkbox task lists (#3593) (#3657)
* feat(editor): support markdown checkbox task lists (#3593) Render `- [ ]` / `- [x]` as interactive checkboxes in the issue content editor, matching GitHub / Notion. - Register TaskList + a patched TaskItem in the shared extension factory. Both ship their own markdown tokenizer / renderMarkdown, input rules, and a checkbox NodeView; the taskList tokenizer is consulted before marked's built-in list tokenizer, so `- [ ]` becomes a task while a plain `- ` still falls through to the bullet list. - Patch TaskItem's keymap to share PatchedListItem's split -> lift Enter chain (double-Enter on an empty item exits the list); nested: true enables sub-tasks and nested round-trips. - Add a "Task list" entry to the bubble-menu list dropdown (+ i18n for en / zh-Hans / ja / ko). - Style task lists in prose.css for both the editor ([data-type="taskList"]) and the readonly remark-gfm output (.contains-task-list); completed items render muted. Readonly already rendered task lists via remark-gfm; this brings the editable view to parity. Adds markdown round-trip and readonly checked-state tests. MUL-2926 Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): keep readonly nested task lists block-laid-out (#3593) The shared `display: flex` rule on task-list items broke nested task lists in the readonly view. remark-gfm renders a task item as `<li><input> text <ul>…</ul></li>` — no body wrapper — so a nested list is a direct sibling of the checkbox and text, and flex pulled it onto the same row. The editor's Tiptap NodeView wraps the body in a `<div>`, so it was unaffected. Split the task-list CSS into separate editor and readonly blocks: the editor keeps the flex row; readonly stays a block list item with an inline checkbox so a nested `<ul>` drops below and indents under its parent. Adds a readonly test that pins the nested DOM shape (nested `<ul>` inside the parent `<li>`), so a future remark-gfm change that wraps the body fails loudly. MUL-2926 Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * feat(editor): convert `- [ ] ` typing into a task list (#3593) TaskItem's built-in input rule only converts `[ ] ` / `[x] ` typed at the start of a plain paragraph. When the user types the GitHub-style `- [ ] ` the leading `- ` first turns the line into a bullet, and the built-in rule no longer fires — so `[ ]` stayed as literal text and nothing became a checkbox. Add an input rule on PatchedTaskItem that catches the checkbox token when it is the entire content of a freshly-typed list item (bullet or ordered) and converts just that item into a task item (deleteRange → liftListItem → toggleList). The anchored regex means it only fires on an item whose whole content is `[ ] ` / `[x] `, so sibling items in the same list are left untouched. Adds typing-level tests (real input-rule simulation) covering `[ ] `, `[x] `, `- [ ] `, `- [x] `, the mixed-list split case, and the plain-bullet no-op. feat(editor): text highlight (==text==) in description & comments [MUL-2934] (#3661)
* feat(editor): support text highlight (==text==) in description & comments Adds a single-color (yellow) text highlight mark to the shared rich-text editor, round-tripped through stored Markdown as ==text==. - HighlightExtension: @tiptap/extension-highlight + @tiptap/markdown hooks (markdownTokenizer/parseMarkdown/renderMarkdown) so ==text== <-> <mark> round-trips; inner inline formatting preserved via inlineTokens. - Bubble menu: highlight toggle button (Mod-Shift-H), i18n in 4 locales. - Read-only renderer: highlightToHtml lowers ==text== -> <mark> (skips code and math); rehype-sanitize schema whitelists <mark>. Nested Markdown inside a highlight still parses via the existing rehype-raw step. - prose.css: single yellow <mark> style, legible in light/dark. Pinned @tiptap/extension-highlight to exact 3.22.1 to match @tiptap/core (>=3.23 expects a getStyleProperty export core 3.22.1 doesn't have). Web/desktop only. Mobile (native md4c, no == syntax, no custom renderers) is tracked as a follow-up. MUL-2934. Tests: editor round-trip (cross-process serialization protocol), readonly <mark> rendering + sanitize, and the ==->mark transform incl. code-skip. Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): align highlight boundary rules across editor & readonly Addresses two boundary bugs from review (PR #3661): 1. A == inside inline code/math could close a highlight when the opening == was outside the literal span (e.g. ==a `b==c` d== wrongly became <mark>a `b</mark>c` d==). Both the editor tokenizer's lazy regex and the readonly transform only guarded the opening fence, not the closing one. 2. The readonly transform matched across blank lines (==a\n\nb==) while the editor lexes those as two literal paragraphs — a storage↔editor↔readonly mismatch. Fix: extract one shared matcher (utils/highlight-match.ts) used by BOTH the editor tokenizer and the readonly lowering, so the rules can't drift. It skips fences that fall inside code/math literal ranges (open or close) and caps the inner span at the first blank line. Tests: shared-matcher unit tests + both repros covered on the editor (round-trip/HTML) and readonly (transform + rendered DOM) sides. Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): handle CRLF in highlight blank-line boundary BLANK_LINE_RE only matched LF, so a CRLF blank line (==a\r\n\r\nb==) was not recognized as a block boundary and got highlighted. Widen to \r?\n[ \t]*\r?\n. Tests: CRLF blank-line (no highlight) + CRLF soft-break (still highlights) on the matcher, readonly transform, and editor sides. feat(editor): add / slash-command palette for invoking agent skills (#3159)
* feat(editor): add / slash-command palette for invoking agent skills Adds a `/` trigger in the chat box that opens a popover listing the active agent's skills. Selecting an item inserts a `[/label](slash://skill/<id>)` token; the daemon extracts those IDs in `buildChatPrompt` and emits an "Explicitly selected skills:" block using the canonical names from the agent's skill registry — labels are display-only and never trusted. Built on Tiptap's `Mention` extension so the suggestion lifecycle, keyboard routing, and IME handling mirror the existing `@` mention UX. Item list is sourced from the React Query workspace cache (no per-keystroke fetch). Gated behind a new `enableSlashCommands` prop so only `chat-input` opts in; other `ContentEditor` consumers (issue editor, comments) are unaffected. Read-only markdown surfaces render the token as a `.slash-command` pill via a custom link renderer + sanitize-schema/url-transform allowlists. Closes #3108 * fix(i18n): add slash_command editor copy for ko/ja The PR added slash_command popover empty-state keys to en + zh-Hans only; locales/parity.test.ts requires every locale to cover every EN key, so ko and ja failed CI. Add the two keys (no_skills_configured, no_results) matching existing skill terminology (스킬 / スキル). fix: escape special chars in image alt and file-card filename (MUL-2899) (#3644)
* fix: escape special chars in image alt and file-card filename during Markdown serialization Filenames containing Markdown label characters ([, ], \, (, )) broke the and !file[name](url) syntax, causing raw Markdown to render instead of the image/file card. - Add shared escapeMarkdownLabel utility - Apply escaping in file-card renderMarkdown - Add renderMarkdown to ImageExtension for alt text escaping - Add regression tests Closes #3616 Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix: address review — fix tokenizer regex, unescape labels, add regression tests - Remove unused tokenizeFn (TS6133) - Change file-card regex to (?:\\.|[^\]])* to handle escaped brackets - Unescape labels in tokenize() and preprocessFileCards() - Export ImageExtension for testability - Rewrite tests: 3 describe blocks covering ImageExtension.renderMarkdown, file-card tokenizer round-trip, and preprocessFileCards (6 tests total) - typecheck and vitest both pass Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> --------- Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> |

fix(editor): preserve raw html-like text on paste (#3355)
* fix(editor): fall back to literal paste when markdown parser drops all content When pasting text like `<T>` or `<MyComponent>`, the CommonMark-compliant markdown parser treats them as inline HTML tags. ProseMirror's schema doesn't recognize unknown HTML elements, so they are silently dropped — producing an empty document from non-empty input. Detect this case (non-empty input → empty parse result) and fall back to literal text insertion so the user sees their text instead of nothing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai> * fix(editor): escape non-standard HTML tags in paste to prevent content loss When pasting mixed content containing multiple <tag> patterns (e.g. "<t>\n裸 `<tag>` 做转\n<tag>\n<t>"), CommonMark treats bare <word> as inline HTML. ProseMirror silently drops unknown HTML elements, causing partial content loss. The previous empty-result fallback only caught the single-tag case where the entire parse result was empty. Pre-process paste text before markdown parsing: escape <tag> patterns whose tag name is not a standard HTML element, while respecting inline code spans and fenced code blocks. Standard HTML (div, br, img, etc.) passes through normally.
