fcb4798f12 fix(issues): stop cold-load render loop on the Issues route (MUL-4985) (#5643)
Board and Swimlane crashed with "Maximum update depth exceeded" on first
paint of the Issues route. During cold load the member/agent/squad
directory queries are unresolved, so useActorName's `= []` defaults
allocated a fresh array every render and its `getActorName` memo changed
identity each render. BoardView's `groups` (and SwimLaneView's
`laneGroups`) list `getActorName` as a dep, so they churned every render
and re-fired the column-resync effect without end; react-virtuoso
escalated the loop into the reported crash. This predates MUL-4797 — it
was exposed when board/swimlane columns were virtualized with a real
<Virtuoso>.

- Share stable empty references for the loading directory snapshot so
getActorName is referentially stable across cold-load renders (root
  cause).
- Equality-guard the shared column setter in useDragSettle so a
content-equal rebuild returns the previous reference and cannot spin
  the resync effect (defense-in-depth).

Regression coverage: useActorName stability during cold load; the
column-setter equality guard; and Board (40 cards) + Swimlane rendered
with the REAL react-virtuoso under pending directories, which reproduce
"Maximum update depth exceeded" without the fix and pass with it.

* fix(issues): make table window filters, selection, and export authoritative

Round-2 review fixes for the issues table (MUL-4797):

- Send the agents-working filter as a server ids facet so matches on
unfetched pages surface and total/pagination/export agree; a present-
but-empty id list yields an empty window instead of an unfiltered one.
- Reset surface selection when the membership window changes and act on
selection ∩ visible rows in the batch toolbar, so batch actions,
Export selected, and the count all share one authoritative set.
- Materialize the full flat window while table grouping is active, and
suspend hierarchy nesting / parent-based grouping until the window is
complete so structure cannot reshuffle as pages arrive; suppress
header facet-count badges while the table window is partial.
- Resolve actor directories and the property catalog at export time and
fail the export instead of writing Unknown* actors or dropping
configured property columns on cold/errored lookups.
- Append a unique id tie-break to the list/grouped ORDER BY and mirror
it in compareIssuesForSort so offset pages are stable across
  same-timestamp ties.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(issues): bound table structure window and align chip/transport/selection

Round-3 review fixes for the issues table (MUL-4797):

- Cap whole-window materialization at TABLE_STRUCTURE_MAX_WINDOW (1000):
below it the remaining pages load automatically — hierarchy applies
without scrolling to the last page — and above it grouping/hierarchy
suspend with an explicit toolbar notice instead of triggering an
unbounded workspace download from a persisted view option.
- Give the agents-working chip the authoritative in-window running set
(the ids-facet window query, shared key with the filter-on state) so
its badge can no longer say 0 while the filter would find matches on
unfetched pages; falls back to loaded-row scoping elsewhere.
- Route ids-facet windows through a new POST /api/issues/query twin —
hundreds of running-issue UUIDs overflow the ~8 KB GET request-line
  budget of common proxies. The body carries the same key/value pairs;
the handler rebuilds the query string and delegates to ListIssues.
- Reset surface selection during render (key-change pattern) instead of
a post-commit effect, so no frame ever pairs new membership with the
  old selection.

* fix(issues): harden table auto-pagination against errors and stale totals

Round-4 review fixes for the issues table (MUL-4797):

- Stop the structure materialization loop (and the scroll sentinel) when
the window query is in error state — a persistently failing page left
hasNextPage true and isFetchingNextPage false after every attempt, so
the ungated effect refired forever. Resuming is an explicit toolbar
Retry. The advancement decision now lives in a pure, tested
  shouldAutoLoadNextStructurePage helper.
- Make the structure ceiling a hard stop: the ceiling check reads the
LATEST page's total (pagination already advances on it, so a stale
small page-1 total could re-open unbounded materialization), and the
loop additionally halts on loaded count >= ceiling regardless of any
  reported total.
- Drive the working (ids-facet) window to completion — it is inherently
bounded by the running set — and treat it as the chip's authoritative
scope only when complete, so >100 running issues no longer under-count
  as a single page.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(issues): make working-window pagination capped and unknown-aware

Round-5 (final) review fixes for the issues table (MUL-4797):

- The working (ids-facet) window now advances through the same
shouldAutoLoadNextWindowPage gates as the structure loop — it shares
the main table's cache key while the agents-working filter is on, so
an uncapped chip-driven loop re-opened the very ceiling the table just
enforced. An over-ceiling window stops after page one.
- A cold-load failure of the flat window is an ERROR state, not an empty
workspace: isEmpty only claims empty on a successful zero-result
fetch, and the surface renders a dedicated failed-to-load state with a
reachable Retry (the in-table Retry never mounted without data).
- The chip scope is now tri-state honest: a COMPLETE window (or an empty
running set) yields a precise count, keepPreviousData carries the
last-known-complete set across re-keys, and everything else — cold
resolving, failed, over the ceiling — presents as an explicit unknown
('Agents working: —') instead of a number derived from whichever
incomplete window happened to be loaded.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(issues): single pagination owner and placeholder-honest chip scope

Round-6 review fixes for the issues table (MUL-4797):

- Exclude placeholder data from the working-window completeness gate:
on a re-key (running set or facet change) keepPreviousData leaves the
OLD key's rows visible, and pairing them with the new task snapshot
published a precise-looking number for a scope nobody fetched. The
scope now reads unknown until the new key resolves.
- Make the shared table query single-owner while the agents-working
filter is on: the chip's background loop no longer answers the same
render snapshot as TableView's structure loop, and every auto caller
(structure loop, working loop, scroll sentinel, retry) now uses
  fetchNextPage({cancelRefetch: false}) so a concurrent responder
no-ops instead of cancel/restarting a fetch whose HTTP request is not
abortable — which had been duplicating every offset.

93aa959239 fix(workspace): await delete before navigating; suppress self-initiated realtime relocate (MUL-4129) (#4983)
* fix(workspace): drop workspace from list cache while delete is pending (MUL-4129)

The delete-workspace flow navigates away before awaiting the DELETE
(required ordering — see navigateAwayFromCurrentWorkspace's
CancelledError notes), but useDeleteWorkspace left the workspace in the
list cache until onSettled. During the pending window any list refetch
re-presented the deleting workspace as a selectable/current option.

Optimistically remove it in onMutate (after cancelling in-flight list
fetches), roll the snapshot back in onError so a failed delete restores
the workspace alongside the existing error toast, and keep the
onSettled invalidate as the server-truth reconcile.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(workspace): own storage cleanup on delete success and tombstone pending deletes (MUL-4129)

Address final-review blockers on #4980:

1. The realtime workspace:deleted handler reverse-looks-up the slug from
the list cache to clear the ${key}:${slug} persisted namespace; the
optimistic removal empties that row on the initiating client, so the
lookup misses and cleanup was silently skipped. Capture the slug in
onMutate before removal and clear storage in onSuccess only — a
failed DELETE rolls back and must not touch persisted state.

2. cancelQueries only covered fetches already in flight at onMutate.
Add a pending-delete tombstone (marked onMutate, lifted onSettled
before the reconcile invalidate) filtered inside workspaceListOptions'
queryFn, so invalidation/reconnect/fetchQuery refetches that land
mid-pending cannot write the not-yet-committed row back into cache.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* docs(claude-md): scope optimistic updates to same-screen field patches

Replace the blanket "mutations optimistic by default" state rule with
three scoped rules: optimistic only for predictable same-screen field
patches; navigating/confirming flows (create/delete/leave) await the
server first; chat send uses the pending-message pattern.

Aligned with TanStack Query maintainer guidance and React Router's
pending-UI criteria; the old blanket rule is what steered the original
MUL-4129 fix toward optimistic entity removal.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(workspace): await delete before navigating; drop optimistic removal (MUL-4129)

Rework of the previous approach on this branch. The optimistic removal
emptied the workspace list cache at click time, while the settings page
was still mounted on the old slug — useWorkspaceId (URL slug + list
lookup) then threw 'no workspace selected'. Root cause of the original
navigate-first ordering was dual ownership of delete handling between
the initiating flow and the realtime workspace:deleted handler.

- useDeleteWorkspace: no optimistic removal, no rollback; onMutate only
marks the delete self-initiated and captures the slug; onSuccess owns
  storage cleanup; onSettled invalidates.
- pending-delete.ts: repurposed from tombstone filter to self-initiated
marker; kept on success (suppresses the WS echo), lifted on failure.
- use-realtime-sync: workspace:deleted no-ops for self-initiated
deletes; it now only serves deletes initiated elsewhere.
- workspace-tab: confirm dialog stays open in loading state, navigate
only after the DELETE succeeds; failure leaves the user in place with
nothing to roll back. Replace throwing useWorkspaceId with
workspace?.id + enabled gating (independent crash on external
  deletes of the current workspace).

Known debt: useLeaveWorkspace still navigates before awaiting
(member:removed has no self-initiated marker yet).

6f29a4c0a6 fix(workspace): derive workspace URL prefix from deployment host (MUL-3400) (#4286)
The create-workspace and onboarding UI hardcoded `multica.ai/` as the
workspace slug URL prefix, so self-hosted deployments showed the wrong
domain. Add a `workspaceUrlHost` helper that derives the host from the
deployment's app URL (`daemon_app_url` from `/api/config`, via the config
store) and falls back to the brand host when none is configured, then use
it in both views. Fixes #4263.

746c0c4456 MUL-2746 fix(avatar): normalize relative avatar urls in desktop/web (#3100)

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(avatar): normalize avatar url in AvatarPicker preview

MUL-2746. The picker is used by create-agent and create-squad, and also
prefills from a template's `avatar_url` when duplicating an agent. The
upload result / template URL is root-relative in local-storage setups,
so on Desktop (file:// runtime) the preview <img> resolves against the
local filesystem and the avatar fails to render. Route the value through
`resolvePublicFileUrl` for rendering only; the stored URL stays raw so
the parent's create call still posts what the backend expects.

46c1e2c889 feat(squads): show member working status on squad detail page (#2768)
* feat(squads): show member working status on squad detail page

Add a new GET /api/squads/{id}/members/status endpoint that returns each
member's derived working/idle/offline/unstable status, the issues each
agent is currently running, and the last observed activity timestamp.
The Squad detail page's Members tab consumes this snapshot to render a
status pill and an active-issue link next to each agent, with live
refresh wired through the existing task/agent/daemon WS events.

Human members are returned with status=null so the UI can keep them in
the same list without implying a presence signal. Archived agents stay
in the response and surface as offline rather than being filtered out.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(squads): address review feedback on member status endpoint

- i18n the "blocked" issue-status pill in squad members tab (was a
bare literal that failed `i18next/no-literal-string` lint).
- Treat any dispatched/running task as working, even when its
  `agent_task_queue.issue_id` is NULL (chat / quick-create tasks).
The agent slot is occupied regardless of whether we can render an
  issue link.
- Force `offline` for archived agents so they appear in the list
but never look like they're still on duty, matching the RFC
  decision in MUL-2319.
- Include `workspaceKeys.squads` in the post-reconnect /
workspace-switch bulk invalidation so members-status recovers
after a disconnect during which task/runtime events were missed.

29082f7cfe feat: implement Squad feature MVP (#2505)
* feat: implement Squad feature MVP

- Add migration 084_squad: squad, squad_member, squad_activity_log tables
- Extend issue.assignee_type to support 'squad'
- Add sqlc queries for squad CRUD, member management, activity logs
- Add Go handler with full Squad API (CRUD, members, activity log)
- Register routes: /api/squads/*, /api/issues/{id}/squad-activity, /api/squad-activity
- Add Squad trigger logic:
  - Assign Squad immediately triggers leader
  - Every external comment on squad-assigned issue triggers leader
  - Anti-loop: squad members' comments don't trigger leader
  - Dedup: skip if leader already has pending task
- Add squad activity log API (方案 B) for leader no-op recording
- Add frontend TypeScript types (Squad, SquadMember, SquadActivityLog)
- Add protocol events: squad:created, squad:updated, squad:deleted

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix: address PR review blocking issues

1. validateAssigneePair now accepts 'squad' assignee_type
2. All squad endpoints validate workspace ownership via GetSquadInWorkspace
3. CreateSquadActivityLog restricted to squad leader agent only
4. AddSquadMember validates member exists in workspace
5. UpdateSquad auto-adds new leader to squad members
6. DeleteSquad transfers assigned issues to leader before deletion
7. IssueAssigneeType includes 'squad' in frontend types

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* feat: soft-delete squads via archive instead of hard delete

- Add migration 085: archived_at + archived_by columns on squad table
- ListSquads now excludes archived squads (ListAllSquads for admin)
- DeleteSquad → ArchiveSquad (sets archived_at, preserves all records)
- Transfer squad-assigned issues to leader before archiving
- SquadResponse includes archived_at/archived_by fields
- Frontend Squad type updated with nullable archived fields

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* feat: re-add Squads frontend entry (sidebar nav + pages)

Re-applies the frontend squad entry that was lost during a merge:
- Sidebar nav: Squads item with Users icon
- Paths: squads() and squadDetail() in workspace paths
- Routes: /squads and /squads/[id] pages
- Views: SquadsPage (list) and SquadDetailPage
- i18n: en 'Squads' / zh '小队'
- Reserved slug: 'squads'

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix: fix SquadsPage rendering - use PageHeader children pattern

PageHeader takes children, not title/actions props. The incorrect
usage caused a React rendering error. Now matches the pattern used
by autopilots and agents pages.

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* fix(squads): add API client methods and package export for squads pages

* feat: complete Squad frontend - create dialog, member management, API methods

- Add CreateSquadModal with name/description/leader selection
- Register 'create-squad' in modal registry
- Wire 'New Squad' button to open the modal
- Add full API client methods: createSquad, updateSquad, deleteSquad,
  addSquadMember, removeSquadMember
- Rewrite SquadDetailPage with:
  - Member list showing resolved names
  - Add/remove member UI
  - Archive squad button
  - Back navigation to squads list

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* feat: improve Squad UI - match create agent dialog style

- CreateSquadModal: proper Dialog with Header/Description/Footer,
agent picker with avatars, textarea for description
- SquadDetailPage: centered max-w-2xl layout, ActorAvatar for members,
Crown badge for leader, textarea for member description,
  improved spacing and visual hierarchy
- Renamed 'role' field label to 'Description' in add member form
(describes the member's responsibilities in the squad)

Co-authored-by: multica-agent <github@multica.ai>

* feat(squad): add avatar, instructions; drop unique-name constraint

- 086: add squad.avatar_url
- 087: drop unique constraint on squad.name (squads with the same
name are legitimate across teams; uniqueness was an accidental
  product constraint)
- 088: add squad.instructions (text, default '')
- UpdateSquad now COALESCEs avatar_url + instructions
- handler exposes Instructions in SquadResponse and accepts it in
  UpdateSquad

Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

* feat(squad): assignable + mention target; trigger leader on assign

- assignee picker and @mention suggestion list squads alongside
agents and members; renders squad avatar/icon
- creating or updating an issue with assignee_type=squad enqueues
a task for the squad's current leader (mirrors agent-assignee
  parking-lot rule: skip backlog only)
- workspace queries/hooks expose squads where needed for the
  pickers
- locales updated for new picker copy

Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

* feat(squad): agent-style detail page with members + instructions tabs

- restructure squad detail page to mirror the agent detail page:
  320px inspector (creator, leader, created/updated) + tabbed
pane (Members | Instructions) with dirty-guard AlertDialog
- inline name + avatar editing on the inspector
- inline description editor (modal textarea)
- members tab: leader + member picker with role descriptions,
swap leader, edit member roles, remove
- instructions tab: ContentEditor + Save (mirrors agent pattern)
- squads list shows the squad avatar/icon
- core types + api.updateSquad accept avatar_url + instructions

Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

* feat(squad): inject leader briefing on claim (protocol + roster + instructions)

When a squad's leader agent claims a task on a squad-assigned issue,
append a system-level briefing to the agent's Instructions composed of:

1. Squad Operating Protocol — hard-coded rules: leader is a
coordinator, dispatch via @mention, stop after dispatching,
resume on re-trigger, do not work outside the roster.
2. Squad Roster — leader self-row plus one row per non-archived
member with a literal mention markdown string ([@Name](mention://
agent|member/<UUID>)) the leader can paste verbatim. Round-trips
through util.ParseMentions, enforced by a contract test.
3. Squad Instructions — the user-defined squad.instructions block,
omitted entirely when empty so we do not leave a dangling heading.

Non-leader members claiming the same issue receive no briefing.

Tests cover: full squad with mixed agent/human members, lone leader,
archived agents skipped, empty user instructions, mention round-trip,
and the leader/non-leader claim-handler gate.

Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(squad): tell leader not to restate issue context in dispatch comment

After observing leaders padding their delegation comments with full
re-summaries of the issue body and prior discussion, make the
Operating Protocol explicit:

- assignees on Multica already have the full issue (title,
  description, all comments, attachments) and workspace context;
- delegation comments should add only what cannot be inferred
(who is picked, why, extra constraints), aim for two or three
  sentences;
- restating context is now an explicit hard rule violation.

Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

* feat(squad): unify leader evaluation into activity_log, add CLI command

- Squad member comments now trigger leader (only leader self-excluded)
- Replace squad_activity_log with activity_log (action: squad_leader_evaluated)
- Add CLI: multica squad activity <issue-id> <outcome> --reason
- Add API: POST /api/issues/{id}/squad-evaluated
- Update squad operating protocol to require evaluation recording
- Remove squad_activity_log table from schema and generated code

* feat(cli): add squad list, get, member list commands

* fix(squad): address review findings (P1+P2)

P1 fixes:
- Add 'squads' to reserved_slugs.json (source of truth)
- Add 'create-squad' to ModalType union
- Remove unused leaderOpen/selectedLeader in create-squad modal
- Replace literal JSX strings with i18n selectors (en + zh-Hans)

P2 fixes:
- Add 'squad' to mention regex (MentionRe)
- Fix human member lookup in squad briefing (use GetUser directly)
- Add squads routes to desktop app
- Add squad:created/updated/deleted to WSEventType + invalidation
- Reject archived squads as issue assignees

* fix(squad): restore zh-Hans key, publish activity event, invalidate issues on archive

- Restore create_project.title in zh-Hans modals.json (dropped by prior edit)
- Publish activity:created WS event after squad leader evaluation
- Invalidate issue queries on squad:deleted (archive transfers assignees)
- Add creator info to squad list cards

* fix(squad): realtime sync, rerun support, leader validation

- Use workspaceKeys.squads prefix for detail/member queries (realtime invalidation)
- Publish squad:updated after add/remove/role-change member mutations
- Support rerun for squad-assigned issues (targets leader agent)
- Reject assignment to squads whose leader is archived

7067d8f125 refactor(skills): redesign list page and add skill detail page (#1607)
* feat(core): add skill detail path and query helpers

- paths.workspace(slug).skillDetail(id) → /:slug/skills/:id
- skillDetailOptions(wsId, skillId) for fetching a single skill
- selectSkillAssignments(agents) folds the cached agent list into
Map<skillId, Agent[]>; returns a stable reference so consumers can
memoize against agent-array identity without re-rendering on unrelated
  agent updates

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(views): add cross-platform openExternal helper

On Electron, route through window.desktopAPI.openExternal so the
http/https-only guard in the main process kicks in — direct window.open
inside Electron opens a new renderer window instead of handing the URL
to the OS shell. On web, fall back to window.open with noopener+noreferrer.
SSR-safe.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* refactor(skills): extract edit-permission hook and origin helper

- use-can-edit-skill: mirrors the server's rule (admin/owner ∨ creator)
so the UI can hide/disable actions instead of waiting for a 403. Takes
wsId explicitly per the repo rule for workspace-aware hooks.
- lib/origin: discriminated view over Skill.config.origin (manual /
  runtime_local / clawhub / skills_sh) so consumers don't spread JSONB
  parsing across the UI tree.

* refactor(skills): rewrite skills list page and collapse import UI

- SkillsPage rewritten: new hero header, single table layout with
columns (Name / Used by / Source · Added by / Updated), agent avatar
stack per skill, filter tabs aligned with Issues/MyIssues header
  (Button variant=outline + Tooltip + bg-accent active state).
- CreateSkillDialog: dedicated dialog for the manual/import entry
points, replaces the inline row-triggered dialog.
- runtime-local import: dialog variant deleted; panel is now the single
entry point, embeddable inside CreateSkillDialog. Panel covered by a
  new test.
- Deleted runtime-local-skill-row (no longer needed — row rendering
lives in SkillsPage directly) and the old skills-page.test.tsx
(structure diverged beyond salvaging; will be re-added alongside the
  detail-page tests).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(skills): add skill detail page and wire routes on web and desktop

- SkillDetailPage: dedicated view for a single skill (name, description,
origin, assignments, file listing). Uses skillDetailOptions and the
  new origin / use-can-edit-skill helpers.
- apps/web: /:workspaceSlug/skills/:id Next.js route.
- apps/desktop: /:slug/skills/:id added to the memory router under
  WorkspaceRouteLayout.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* test(skills): bump runtime-local-skill-import-panel timeouts for CI

The test chains a five-step async cascade (runtime list → setSelectedRuntimeId
effect → skills query → auto-select effect → row render). Comfortable on
local (~600ms) but tight against RTL's 1 s default on CI where jsdom +
Vitest import takes ~100s. Bump findByText and the two waitFor calls to
5 s each — no production behaviour change.

75d12c26c5 feat: workspace URL refactor v2 + rollback-safe compat layer (#1138)
* Reapply "feat: workspace URL refactor + slug-first API identity (#1131)" (#1137)

This reverts commit 9b94914bc8.

* compat: legacy URL redirect + localStorage double-write for safe rollback

The first attempt at this refactor (#1131) was reverted because existing
users on old URLs (/issues, /projects, etc.) hit 404 immediately after
deploy, and rolling back left them with empty dashboards — the legacy
code reads localStorage["multica_workspace_id"] to attach a workspace
to API requests, but the new code had stopped writing that key.

Two compat layers added on top of the restored refactor:

1. proxy.ts now intercepts legacy route prefixes (/issues/*, /projects/*,
   /agents/*, /inbox/*, /my-issues/*, /autopilots/*, /runtimes/*,
   /skills/*, /settings/*). Logged-in users with a last_workspace_slug
cookie are 302'd to /{slug}/{rest}, preserving their deep link. Users
without the cookie bounce through / where the landing page picks a
workspace client-side. Unauthenticated users go to /login.

2. Both layouts now double-write the workspace id to the legacy
localStorage key on every workspace entry. New code ignores this key
   — it exists solely so that if this PR ever gets reverted again, the
legacy build reading the key would still find the correct workspace
and avoid the empty-dashboard symptom users saw during the rollback.

Net effect: any direction of deploy ↔ rollback is now cache-compatible,
and any direction of old bookmark → new route resolves without 404.

* fix(platform): defer rehydrateAllWorkspaceStores to a microtask

Same React 19 render-phase restriction that forced setCurrentWorkspace
to defer its subscriber notifications. rehydrateAllWorkspaceStores
synchronously calls each persist store's rehydrate, which setState()s
the store, which schedules updates on any subscribed component. When
the workspace layout's render-phase ref guard invoked this, React
complained that SearchCommand (a store subscriber) couldn't be
re-rendered while WorkspaceLayout was still rendering.

Fix: queueMicrotask the rehydrate loop and add a pending-flag guard so
rapid workspace switches coalesce into one rehydrate on the final slug.
Persist stores tolerate one microtask of staleness — they hold UI
preferences, not correctness-critical state.

59ace95a1e feat: workspace URL refactor + slug-first API identity (#1131)
* feat: workspace URL refactor + slug-first API identity

Make the URL the single source of truth for workspace identity.
All workspace-scoped URLs now carry the workspace slug as the first
path segment (/{slug}/issues, /{slug}/projects, etc.), matching the
industry standard (Linear, Notion, Vercel, GitHub).

## Key architectural changes

**URL-driven workspace identity:**
- Web routes moved under app/[workspaceSlug]/(dashboard)/
- Desktop routes nested under /:workspaceSlug
- paths.ts builder centralises all URL construction
- reserved-slugs validation (backend + frontend + DB migration audit)

**Slug-first API contract:**
- Frontend sends X-Workspace-Slug header (from URL) instead of X-Workspace-ID (UUID)
- Backend middleware resolves slug → UUID via GetWorkspaceBySlug, falls back to
  X-Workspace-ID for CLI/daemon backwards compatibility
- WebSocket auth accepts ?workspace_slug query param with SlugResolver callback

**State cleanup:**
- Deleted: useWorkspaceStore (Zustand mirror), switchWorkspace/hydrateWorkspace/
  clearWorkspace, localStorage["multica_workspace_id"], api._workspaceId
- useCurrentWorkspace() derives from URL slug + React Query workspace list
- useWorkspaceId() is now a bridge hook (no Context, derives from useCurrentWorkspace)
- WorkspaceIdProvider removed from DashboardGuard
- Paired module vars (slug + UUID) in workspace-storage.ts for non-React consumers

**Layout simplified:**
- Render-phase ref guard sets workspace context synchronously (no async gate)
- DashboardGuard handles auth redirect, loading state, and workspace resolution
- Subscriber notifications deferred via queueMicrotask (React 19 compat)
- persist namespace uses slug (immutable) instead of UUID

## Issues resolved

MUL-43 (share links), MUL-509 (mobile workspace switch), MUL-723 (workspace in URL),
MUL-727 (create workspace flash), MUL-728 (delete workspace no-navigate),
MUL-820 (sidebar Join not switching)

* fix: resolve code review C3/C4/C5/C6 — desktop deadlock + hardcoded paths

C3: Desktop OnboardingGate was calling useCurrentWorkspace() outside
WorkspaceSlugProvider → always null → permanent onboarding deadlock.
Rewrite to use useQuery(workspaceListOptions()) which reads React Query
cache directly without slug context. Remove DashboardGuard from
DesktopShell (auth gating handled by AppContent, workspace routing by
WorkspaceRouteLayout per-tab).

C4: Landing page "Dashboard" links hardcoded /issues (no longer valid).
Changed to / — proxy handles redirect to /{lastSlug}/issues.

C5: autopilots-page.tsx had one hardcoded /autopilots/${id} link.
Changed to wsPaths.autopilotDetail(id).

C6: inbox-page.tsx hardcoded /inbox paths. Changed to wsPaths.inbox().

* fix(desktop): wrap shell in WorkspaceSlugProvider from module var

AppSidebar calls useWorkspacePaths() → useRequiredWorkspaceSlug() which
throws outside WorkspaceSlugProvider. In the desktop shell, the sidebar
renders at the shell level (outside any tab's WorkspaceRouteLayout).

Fix: DesktopShell reads the current slug via useSyncExternalStore on
the workspace-storage singleton. When slug is available, wraps the
entire shell in WorkspaceSlugProvider. When null (first mount before
any tab's WorkspaceRouteLayout sets it), shows a loading spinner.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(desktop): migrate old tab paths + fix shell slug deadlock

Tab store rehydration: old-format paths like "/issues/abc" (missing
workspace slug prefix) are reset to "/" so IndexRedirect picks the
correct workspace. Detection: if the first segment is a known route
name (issues, projects, etc.) rather than a workspace slug, it's an
old-format path.

Desktop shell: TabContent must always render (not gated behind slug
check) so WorkspaceRouteLayout can mount and call setCurrentWorkspace.
Only sidebar and shell-level UI (chat, modals, search) gate on slug
being present.

ff1d348274 feat(security): invitation acceptance flow for workspace members (#1019)
* feat(security): replace instant member-add with invitation acceptance flow

Users invited to a workspace must now explicitly accept the invitation
before becoming a member. This fixes the security vulnerability where
knowing someone's email was enough to auto-register their runtime to
your workspace.

Changes:
- Add workspace_invitation table with pending/accepted/declined/expired states
- Replace CreateMember with CreateInvitation (same endpoint, new behavior)
- Add accept/decline/revoke/list invitation API endpoints
- Add invitation WS events for real-time notification
- Frontend: invitation accept/decline UI in workspace switcher
- Frontend: pending invitations section in members settings tab

* fix(invitation): address PR review nits

- Fix invitation:revoked listener to send event to invitee user (was no-op)
- Remove duplicate queryClient2 in app-sidebar.tsx, reuse existing queryClient
- Add expires_at > now() filter to ListPendingInvitationsByWorkspace query

1d64ea4ba6 feat: add online status indicator on agent & member avatars (#821)
* feat: add online status indicator dot on agent & member avatars

Backend:
- Track member presence via WebSocket connections in the Hub
- Broadcast member:online/offline events when users connect/disconnect
- Add GET /api/workspaces/{id}/members/online endpoint
- Add member:online and member:offline event type constants

Frontend:
- Add isOnline prop to ActorAvatar with a status dot at top-right corner
- Green dot = online, gray dot = offline, no dot = status unknown
- Fetch online member list via new query, update optimistically on WS events
- Derive agent online status from existing agent.status field
- Wire online status through ActorAvatar views wrapper (enabled by default)

* fix: address code review — fix hub tests and avatar rounding

1. Hub tests: consume the member:online presence event from the first
connection before asserting on broadcast messages.
2. ActorAvatar: use rounded-[inherit] on the inner wrapper so callers
can override rounding (e.g. rounded-lg for agent list items).

* fix: consume member:online presence event in integration test

Same fix as the hub unit tests — read and discard the member:online
event before asserting on issue:created in TestWebSocketIntegration.

c76ba2f58e fix(workspace): seed React Query cache at all list-acquisition points
- staleTime: 0 on fetchQuery after leave/delete so fresh data is fetched
- setQueryData before switchWorkspace in createWorkspace so sidebar is
  consistent on first render
- seed workspaceKeys.list() cache in login, Google callback, and
settings save so the first useQuery(workspaceListOptions()) hit is free
- remove dead onError from WorkspaceStoreOptions (used only by the
  deleted refreshWorkspaces action)

43466a6402 refactor: migrate workspace list from Zustand to React Query
- Remove workspaces[] from workspace store — list is server state, belongs in React Query
- Change switchWorkspace(id) → switchWorkspace(ws) — caller provides full object from Query
- Remove createWorkspace/leaveWorkspace/deleteWorkspace store actions (duplicated mutations)
- Remove refreshWorkspaces store action — replaced by qc.fetchQuery + hydrateWorkspace
- Enhance useLeaveWorkspace/useDeleteWorkspace mutations to re-select workspace when current is removed
- useCreateWorkspace mutation now switches to new workspace on success
- AuthInitializer seeds React Query cache on boot to avoid double fetch
- Realtime sync: replace refreshWorkspaces() calls with qc.fetchQuery + hydrateWorkspace
- Sidebar reads workspace list from useQuery(workspaceListOptions()) instead of Zustand
- create-workspace modal and workspace settings tab use mutations directly
- AGENTS.md: rewrite to match current monorepo architecture, pointing to CLAUDE.md

Fixes workspace rename not updating sidebar without page refresh.

P0: Replace all localStorage calls in packages/core with StorageAdapter
- Create StorageAdapter interface (getItem/setItem/removeItem)
- Auth store factory now requires storage parameter
- Workspace store factory accepts optional storage parameter
- WSProvider accepts storage prop for token retrieval
- apps/web/platform/ passes localStorage as the web implementation

P1: Remove sonner UI dependency from packages/core
- Replace toast.error() in workspace store with onError callback
