fa4943e8df2e1048a5030f1d93776ca2b9da7b8a doc: Add template for empty release notes (MarcoFalke) Pull request description: * Move release process notes from the release notes to the release process documentation * Clarify that wallet RPC or Settings related release notes snippets should not be duplicated. I think it should be sufficient to only mention them in the wallet section and leave them out from the general RPC section. * Create an empty template to ensure the release notes can be cleared with a single `cp` command. Also, this ensures that the "no duplication" note isn't deleted again. Bitcoin Core
Setup
Bitcoin Core is the original Bitcoin client and it builds the backbone of the network. It downloads and, by default, stores the entire history of Bitcoin transactions, which requires a few hundred gigabytes of disk space. Depending on the speed of your computer and network connection, the synchronization process can take anywhere from a few hours to a day or more.
To download Bitcoin Core, visit bitcoincore.org.
Running
The following are some helpful notes on how to run Bitcoin Core on your native platform.
Unix
Unpack the files into a directory and run:
bin/bitcoin-qt(GUI) orbin/bitcoind(headless)
Windows
Unpack the files into a directory, and then run bitcoin-qt.exe.
macOS
Drag Bitcoin Core to your applications folder, and then run Bitcoin Core.
