c94195c077ff227e5e2d80e803e1400d7f60812b doc: add note to windows build about stripping bin (fanquake) Pull request description: The Windows binaries are particularly big when they contain debug info, closing in on 500mb. Add a note to the Windows build instructions about using `--strip`. I haven't tested this (the copying out to WSL). If we don't want to add this note, in favour of [user-presents or similar](https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/30593#issuecomment-2271304490), then we should just close #30593. Fixes #30593. Bitcoin Core
Setup
Bitcoin Core is the original Bitcoin client and it builds the backbone of the network. It downloads and, by default, stores the entire history of Bitcoin transactions, which requires several hundred gigabytes or more of disk space. Depending on the speed of your computer and network connection, the synchronization process can take anywhere from a few hours to several days or more.
To download Bitcoin Core, visit bitcoincore.org.
Running
The following are some helpful notes on how to run Bitcoin Core on your native platform.
Unix
Unpack the files into a directory and run:
bin/bitcoin-qt(GUI) orbin/bitcoind(headless)
Windows
Unpack the files into a directory, and then run bitcoin-qt.exe.
macOS
Drag Bitcoin Core to your applications folder, and then run Bitcoin Core.
